I've been doing business with Pacific Heating for nearly a decade and the house we just completed last year has the best GeoThermal set up you can imagine. The price was great; the service was what most people hope to get ... and everything works as expected. I couldn't help but notice one of the other reviews, which absolutely shocked me! It states the following: "I will never go back to Pacific Heating & Cooling Inc!! I would strongly discourage giving them your business!! The owners Mark and his wife are very rude! As a costumer I never expected to be treated with such disrespect! Take your business elsewhere!!" Most notable is that all the complaining fails to state specifically what was wrong ... unless it had something to do with supplying "costumes" (?) for a party or some other personal issues, which I cannot imagine given that our experience was the polar opposite of hers. I have had the honor of getting to know Mark and Sandy Webb better, over the years, and they are both consummate professionals and very cordial. In terms of a personal issue, anything is possible; but somethings are simply not believable. Rude? Never! If the option arose, I/we would do business with Pacific Heating - and Mark, specifically - with the same expectations we had last time - knowing we were completely satisfied in every way. We highly recommend Pacific Heating - just like the other two people, who obviously received the same great service that we did! :-)

Short version? CALL PACIFIC! Long version? Geothermal climate control systems pencil out. Initial costs are higher than the more common options but they quickly pay for themselves with low operating costs and exceptional system efficiency. Our system hadn’t been serviced since we bought the house 4 years ago. The Grants Pass, OR based installer had retired and I had to find a knowledgeable alternate. My challenge was finding a reliable maintenance company who truly understands the these systems. My search led me to Mark Webb and Pacific Heating & Cooling of Medford/White City, OR. While Pacific can handle the typical HVAC calls, Mark’s company KNOWs Geo; installation and service. When my system started having trouble producing heat, I called Pacific in for the maintenance. Now Merlin, at 40+ miles away, is well out of Pacific’s normal service area but Mark found time to fit us in quickly. Mark’s communication was excellent (timely texts to confirm the appointment, tell me he was on the way, about to arrive etc). He was punctual. He expertly evaluated the system, executed multiple maintenance procedures and repairs, replaced faulty components with OEM parts (who else carries “ClimateMaster” parts on the truck) and quickly had my system pumping out 91 degree air (up from 66) in no time. Of greater benefit, he carefully explained GeoThermal theory to me simply and then provided web links to ClimateMaster maintenance info so I can handle basic maintenance like topping off coolant, burping the circulation pump, and identifying trouble codes in the future. Nobody likes a surprise when the bill comes in and I won’t divulge pricing but let me say that I was surprised ...PLEASANTLY ... the fee for service was significantly LOWER than my lowest estimate. And he showed me some system design improvements to significantly improve the system’s basic performance. Now ... I don’t write reviews unless the organization EARNS one. In Mark’s/Pacific’s case ... for EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and winning a LOYAL customer who will tell others “For HVAC or Geothermal installation or service ... Hi Hugh, It was a pleasure fixing you’re system. We have been installing and servicing geothermal systems for 30 years and it never seems like work. I truly enjoy the people and the systems. As a small company I talk to folks from the start to the finish of a project or repair. It makes it hard to chase people down for a review unlike like some of the larger companies that staff this part. So I really appreciate Having great customers, the five star review and remarks. For almost 20 years I have counted upon and appreciated Mark and his team's heating and cooling knowledge and service for both my residential and business buildings. Both locations required special experience to address unique issues created by previous installers of heating and cooling devices. Thankfully, we are all now warmer/cooler and breathing healthier air!
