Upon reaching Nortek by way of bike for their job Fair , I was greeted warmly , asked am I seeking employment (absolutley) was my response, provided with a paper (Thank God) application, upon completing it ask if I would interview , no brainers on that, it went well , had to contain myself because of being excited of the possibility , my questions and my two interviewers answers fit the research and feeling I resolved about this Company , everyone from first contact in parking lot at the registration/application table where open , warm , and friendly like a Big old Family , and it's just the type of Company with the type of people , I would love to be of service/work for bringing my skills and talents to , helping to make it better for future challenges and employees and products. Over all , my experience left me with a welcome feeling , and also with the feelings that this would be a good place to work , learn , grow and be part of because it gives off the atmosphere that welcomes new ideas , new ways of achieving the goals of the Company .

Nice place, big place. Did a drop and hook. Plenty of room. Told the lady it was my first time there, she was very friendly and helpful.

Don't work here. I got fired for something that employees have been doing for years. I've had 2 safety incidents vs others who have had way more and I'm the one fired. I watched a guy throw furnaces he unloaded and say that they weren't damaged and even the supervisor Jamie Hayes said that they were fine. Daniel Hines from weekend shift goes around messing with people's lifts and I did it back to him and he goes and sabotages my lift and I was to blame for that. To the big bosses in this damn place: fix your employees and fix your machines and trucks before OSHA comes through and shuts you down. You have trucks that are broken and you refuse to get them fixed regardless how many safety reports get turned in.
