Came out quickly on Monday after a service request via the website on a weekend. The tech was professional and very helpful. Diagnosed the problem with the furnace right off, and was able to install with a new, compatible in stock furnace the next day. Install went quick and efficiently, done within 3 hours. Even threw in a older model digital thermostat after seeing the one we had was at least 20 years old. Now we're only about 5 years behind on technology LOL Would definitely recommend.

They were at my house within the hour. Technician was very nice and polite. Was a simple fix and furnace works great. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

Updated 7-10-21: I updated this review because after 3 years of use, I am increasingly thankful I selected Mike's Heating & Cooling. I have their maintenance service where they come out every 6 months to check the a/c (spring) and furnace (fall). On the night of 7-6-21, I had a DTE overhead wire break during a storm and fall on my fence. The resulting "surge" fried the a/c. Mike's had a technician out within 2 hours after I called. The parts had to be ordered, but arrived the following morning and were quickly installed. Since I have the service contract, there was no charge. Mike's provides Best in Class service. I wholeheartedly recommend them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- May 2018: I requested 3 estimates for replacing my 23 year old Furnace and A/C. -C&C's technician quoted the most inexpensive Carrier model when I asked for the high efficiency models with the ultra quiet variable speed blowers. When I pressed for the higher efficiency models the guy said I didn't have enough static air pressure, but he quoted one model up from the most inexpensive. I ruled out C&C for their reluctance to give me what I required -Great Dane's salesman gave the most competitive estimate. I wasn't sure what he priced would encompass challenges of my unique application - i.e., very small foot print, custom returns, refrigerant line rerouting, and old chimney issues. I ruled out Great Dane because I was concerned about possible significant additional expenses and what I perceived was a lack of understanding the additional work my 68 year old house would require. Also, that Great Dane sent out a salesman (a very good one and knowledgable one) rather than the person who would actually do the work. -Mike Jr of Mike's H&C came out and spent a lot of time explaining the changes needed for my environment. He explained that they would reroute the refrigerant line (it was routed over a gutter), redesign the return ducting, remove old chimney, and several other things. Then he said that he would schedule a 2 man crew for 2 days. Price: I'm a person who shops for the best deal for the best product. Mike's quote was higher than Great Dane for the same Carrier models (59MN7 and 24VNA), but I felt that Mike knew enough of the work required to schedule (and price) 2 days work. And it took all of the 2 days. Results: I've read some critical reviews about Mike's. My experience was amazingly good. I was really stressed out over this installation in a 68 year old house on a slab meaning lots of work in the attic. Tom and Fred's work was superb!! A+++++ Crew: Tom and Fred did a fantastic job. They never did anything without checking with me first to ensure I was happy with what they wanted to do. At the start of the 2nd day I asked for a BIG change in the venting. Tom said he'd "make it happen" and he did so without complaint or arguing that it had to be "his way" and it looks so good! And at no extra cost. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike's Heating and Cooling. I give a triple 5 star rating to Tom and Fred for their craftsmanship. I thank Mike Jr. for patiently explaining everything. And not once did they charge anything extra for my requests. Carrier: I also recommend the high efficiency Carrier models. I have a very small house and noise is a big issue. These Carrier models are quiet with one exception. In a small house the inducer motor whine can be bothersome. Just remember to turn off the "smart Recovery" thermostat option as that tends to increase the "whine".
