We used Mid Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning last month, when during a preventive maintenance check up (by another company), observed a crack in the heat transfer unit of the Gas heating furnace. This would have caused Carbon Monoxide emission from the furnace. We called Mid Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning, they were quick to respond, gave us an excellent price on replacing the Gas Furnace which was more than 10 years old. They ordered a new gas furnace for next day delivery (the other company had said it would take several weeks for them to a get a new gas furnace). Their price was 25% cheaper than the other company's quote. Mid Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was very professional, their installers showed up on time the next day and replaced the gas furnace in about 3 hours and we got our heat back.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We use 2-10 as well, and will be looking for another supplemental insurance company. It's blatantly obvious that 2-10 REFUSES to pay for better contractors (we were sent Loving Air 2 years ago and LOVED them; when Mid-Atlantic used the same bull$h!t on us we requested Loving Air again and were told they no longer work with them). Mid-Atlantic are unprofessional, never show for appointments and LIE to 2-10 about why they missed their appointment (actually blamed it on US each time), etc. This list could go on forever. This company is a JOKE!

***Update*** Mid-Atlantic was assigned to repair our broken A/C unit back on 07/19/2021. By August 18th the compressor showed up on our doorstep, and they were able to install it in to our A/C unit. Mid-Atlantic then sent a technician to our house to replace the on August 20th 2021. We then went to the beach for a week 21AUG2021 to 28AUG2021 and returned on 28AUG2021 to find that our AC was broken yet again. Contacted the home warranty company and I asked for a different company and Pride Heating and Cooling of Manassas Came out on 30AUG and determined that the circuit board in our furnace need to be replaced. The Circuit Board was then replaced by 03SEP2021. The Air handler began to move air and we thought the AC was finally fixed. After a few hours we noticed that the A/C was still not cooling and we called our Home Warranty service and Pride AC to notify them of the issue. Pride AC then returned on 08SEP2021 and confirmed that the compressor was indeed broken again and that the compressor was in a “no pump” state and would have to be replaced again. On 10SEP2021 I was told by our Home warranty company that Mid-Atlantic would be responsible for repairing the compressor (again) because they are the company who replaced it in the first place and are accountable for the breaking of the new compressor. On 14SEP2021 I spoke to Rick again (from Mid Atlantic) and confirmed that a Saturday appointment is available and a technician would be sent to diagnose the issue. By 29SEP our AC has been replaced. I am happy to say that Mid Atlantic kept their word and made good on fixing our AC. Rick was very respectable and understood the frustrating time that we had went through and sent one of their most experienced technicians to make sure that we would have no problems moving forward. It makes me proud that Mid Atlantic understands the value of true business and looks to take care of their customers whenever they are able. I would recommend Mid Atlantic Heating and Cooling to anyone who needs work done on their AC.
