  I am very sorry to say such negative things about anyone, but I have to try to spare others from experiencing what I have endured since January 12, 2010 with Karry Maynard Heating & Air. On January 12 he installed a new air handler (inside HVAC unit) in my home, for which I paid him $1900. My 93 year old mother lives with me and we were miserably cold the entire winter. Despite repeated calls from me, he and his crew could not or would not get the system corrected. Every time I had them out, he admitted they found something wrong that needed correcting; once he even said AFTER correcting one of my problems, he found he had a service bulletin regarding the heat strip in our unit that burned the fuse link up, was broken and not coming on. We had gone two months with improper equipment (possibly hazardous?); definitely improper heat. He never apologized during this time for any inconvenience. He always made me feel uncomfortable as if I was bothering him when I would call for assistance. Only after I wrote him a very lengthy letter on March 18, did he come out and finally give us the hot, forceful heat we had been begging for since his January 12 installation. Last Monday, June 21 our A/C went out. Karry said it would be Wednesday before he could come out. I called back that evening, reminding him that my mother was 93 yrs old & on continuous oxygen with health issues, that it was 80 degrees in our home & that anything he could possibly do would be greatly appreciated. So he came on Tuesday morning; I thanked him profusely. He replaced the capacitor in the outside unit, saying that should fix the problem; it did not. He came out again that afternoon & made adjustments to the outside unit only. That evening my mother called him twice and left messages as the temp continued to rise well into the 80's and it was becoming almost unbearable. He called the next morning (Wed) and told me that I would have to get someone else to fix my A/C, as he had been out there FOUR times the day before (he had only been twice) and that he did not know what else to do. I had someone else come that evening and right away they fixed a leak in the feeder tube to the coil on the inside unit – which was Karry's $1900 unit & should have been his responsibility – very easily detected if he had come inside on his second trip that afternoon. We had suffered horribly for three days...it was 87 degrees by that time & we were close to a breakdown. I am very sorry, but Karry Maynard is a nightmare; extremely unprofessional and unreliable.
