I came home from a week vacation to a FREEZING house.  I called Kohles and Bach and they sent a technician out to my home on a Sunday evening in the freezing weather.   The response time was great.  The technician was knowledgeable and the price was fair.  I trust Kohles and Bach knowing they aren't going to push some high priced products on me and will not price gouge me either.  I very highly recommend Kohles and Bach and will recommend them to anyone that needs the help.  I'm a customer for life!  Thank you Kohles and Bach so much.  My pipes did not freeze and the house is nice and warm again!

The serviceman was excellent. He explained what was wrong with our gas fireplace and cleaned the existing pilot light piece of rust ( which worked!) before installing a new piece. Cleaned the fireplace including the glass and installed a blower unit. We were very pleased with his professionalism, friendliness and would definitely recommend this business.

Brandon called and arrived promptly. He went the extra mile when my dog got out and waited until dog was in the house, explained how gas fireplaces operate, how to use igniter and told me about changing switch for variable speed fan. No mess and well organized. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would like him to return if I need additional work.

I contacted Kohles & Bach to repair my 20 yr. old Heatilator gas fireplace after a referral from a neighbor, and I was very pleased with everything about my experience. The technician (Garrette) arrived as scheduled and was great at listening to my explanation of the problem.  In addition to replacing the faulty component, he also thoroughly cleaned the glass and replaced the decorative rock at the base of the fireplace, and more importantly sealed up the opening around the gas line to provide insulation from the cold outside air.  This far exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely use them again for any future repairs.

Dave identified our heating issue very quickly and had the replacement part we needed! The cost for this service seemed reasonable. He was kind and professional! Highly recommend.

They gave us an approximate time range they would be at our home. They called on the day of installation to give us a time they would be here! Most importantly he showed up when he said he would. That is hard to find these days. When we first called to schedule someone to install an insert for us the office personnel was new and did not get the message across to the correct place. After not getting a call back, we called and explained our frustration. The person I spoke with was highly apologetic and explained that individual was no longer working there. He immediately took ownership and was able to fix the problem.

I called Kohles & Bach not really knowing anything about them.  I have a gas fireplace that I knew needed servicing, and I've driven past Kohles & Bach before so I called them.  Garret was the service tech and he was just great.  He was very nice, masked up, and put coverings on his shoes as he entered my home.  He arrived about the time scheduled, made sure everything was clear prior to leaving, and explained what what happening.  I am glad I called Kohles & Bach.

Garette Williams is an excellent HVAC technician. He arrived promptly after calling me to let me know how long it would be. I even received an auto text which allowed me to track his progress (which I didn’t advantage of but the offer was there). Garette is a very friendly man, and he did a wonderful job explaining and answering all of my questions satisfactorily. I really felt “heard” and trusted his professional opinion. The whole process was slick from requesting the service to delivery of those services. I would recommend Kohles and Bach to anyone, and especially Garette.

They installed our gas logs last year. Came out for service today. Good communication from company. Punctual. Knowledgeable young man. Clean with shoes off and tarp down.

A service technician came at the scheduled appointment time and cleaned our gas fireplace.  The technician was excellent with great  communication skills and technical skills. Was great having an experienced technician such as Sherrill.  Other technicians had looked at our in- furnace humidifier which was problematic and had no idea why it was not functioning properly.  Sherrill diagnosed it quickly and made a recommendation.

I can’t say enough good about Kohles and Bach. They were amazing and completely honest. We went on vacation and came back to a broken air conditioner. My husband called the first name he saw when he looked up AC service providers and that was Service Legends. A rep came to our house and charged us to look at the unit and then said we would have to spend $800 more to even see what was wrong. The $100 charge I was fine with but the rep should have found the problem.  I wasn’t comfortable and it didn’t seem right so I called Kohles and Bach. They had a rep there within the hour. Eric Steinick was the rep and you couldn’t ask for a more honest and efficient employee. He asked what was going on and then asked if he could look at the AC. I said sure but was thinking it just needed to be replaced. About 10 minutes later Eric called me out and said it was fixed and the part was going to be about $250. The part was a capacitor and the one he had on hand was not powerful enough so he said he would come back with  the right sized capacitor. He did and our problem was solved. Eric’s main priority was not to sell us a new unit but it was to solve our problem more cost effectively. We felt Service Legends only wanted to sell us a new unit and make as much money in other ways possible but not in a way that made us feel comfortable. My husband called Service Legends to get our $100 back and as of this week it was refunded because on their website it states fix it right or it is free. Since we felt their goal was to sell us a new unit and not fix it they did give our money back. The rep from Service Legends that my husband spoke to said that Kohles and Bach look like the heroes in this situation. I guess he was right they were our heroes back in August. Thanks Kohles and Bach and Eric for your honesty and service. When it is time for a new unit we will definitely have Kohles and Bach as our service providers. Thanks again for truly putting customer needs first. It will always pay to be honest in the end. Please do your own research when using service providers but know that we have total trust in Kohles and Bach.

Great service.  AJ was on time for furnace and fireplace maintenance.  Fireplace needed fix and he explained what needed done (pilot light replacement)  so that I could easily understand. Also, told me cost before doing repair.  Would use again!

I contacted K & B for a furnace checkup. I have their service agreement for furnace check in the fall and AC check in the spring. The tech was in excellent communication by phone, text, and email. Used shoe covers in my home. Very pleased with the service I received.

I've WAS a devoted customer of Kohles and Bach for many years, but am scouting for a new heating and cooling firm.  They have decided they must be paid before scheduling or performing regular AC or furnace checkups.  Who pays for any service before it is even scheduled?  Except for ordering goods online, who expects payment for anything before the exchange of goods and services?  Not my doctor, dentist, grocer, utility company, gas station, groomer--no one! They tried to excuse the change in policy to a "computer system update".   If this is an example of their business savvy and customer trust,  I'll take my business elsewhere.

Had some issues with my gas direct vent fireplace.  Service repair person came out and gave a description and possible causes of the issue.  After a cleaning the issue no longer was happening so may have just needed that.  If it happens again will need to replace some parts.

Had issues with my fireplace the technician showed up and after we discussed what was going on he diagnosed it and told me what all he was going to do. My only complaint is, and I understand why they schedule it like this,  is what I call the old cable company time frame, we’ll be there between 0800-1200 😳🙄 . Had a great experience from Kohles & Bach service. AJ was a top technician. He was courteous, clean & very thorough. Very professional. He did a quick diagnosis of the fireplace and let me know the problem was not what I originally suspected. I feel he went above and beyond by cleaning the inside as well as the glass front and the trim.  Some people might have a little sticker shock of the cost of parts & labor, but I have peace of mind it was professionally done & done well.

Our service technician, Sherrill, is awesome. He’s professional, courteous, and efficient at what he does. He completes his work as if he’s working on his own home and there just doesn’t seem to be that kind of service around anymore. Our service tech Brandon was so helpful in explaining how to run our Thermostat that he changed out. The mother board did a funny run thru the system thing & they had never seen it before. Brandon was very professional in reinstalling it and helped me set it up to my iphone. Explaining how to do things that were never shown as this was a new build, we weren’t here for it. Brandon gets 5 stars for his excellent servicing  here today!!

Technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He was willing to answer all our questions as he checked over and completed fireplace maintenance. He happily adjusted flame and fan level before replacing cleaned glass and screen. Will use again.

Garrett is a total professional.  He did annual maintenance on the furnace, and maintenance on the gas fireplace.  He solved a lighting issue on the fireplace,  and followed up promptly with info about glass replacement.  I trust when he leaves that I'm set for the coming season.

Our air conditioner stopped working over night, so we called Kohles & Bach whom sent out sevice guy Garrett (same day). Upon arrival He introduced himself and was very polite. He is very knowledgeable and was able to locate the issue in no time.  He replaced our furnace filter and compositor.  Within, an hour my house is cooling and comfortable.

AJ serviced the furnace, whole house humidifier, and 2 gas fireplaces. Simply put, I am impressed. I have never used an HVAC service that has done such a thorough job before. In my experience HVAC service companies are in and out in 10-15 minutes (heat only) and hardly seems worth what they were paid. My fireplaces were, not only serviced but, also cleaned. AJ also taught me how to use the whole house humidifier and how to keep problems from arising. Job well done!

As the temperature started rising this year, we discovered our AC had stopped working on a Thursday morning before work. By 9am I had spoken with the team and Kohles & Bach and their technician arrived at our home before noon the same day. Unfortunately, he was unable to repair our (old) AC unit, but Kohles & Bach was able to locate a new unit and schedule us for install the following Wednesday. The technicians who came to install the unit arrived exactly when they were scheduled to, were knowledgeable and very friendly. For both appointments we received communication from Kohles & Bach with a photo of the technician who was coming to our home along with information on their years of experience and training. My husband and I are so glad that we came across this gem of a company when we had an issue. They were wonderful to work with and really respected our time by staying on schedule. We have added Kholes & Bach to our list of home service vendors and will highly recommend them to our friends any family!

Garrett was very knowledgeable and professional. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all and I generally don’t like people.

Tracked water and mud all over the basement, then he had a problem with his welder, so soot got all over the basement.  We seemed to be nothing but an inconvenience to him and he was pretty disrespectful to ourselves and our house.  We have had other service technicians come in and they were great, but Dave Gressley definitely wasn't one of them.

We have used Kohl’s & Bach for two years now.   They put in a new heating and AC system for us.   We felt very comfortable with their salesperson as he gave us facts and straight answers, especially with the pricing.  No pitch.      Then the two service team members who took out our old system and put in our new one were friendly, clean and effeicent.  We couldn’t ask for anything better.   Since then the new system has exceeded our expectations.   And the service check ups were handled by friendly and knowledgeable service members.   We give these folks a huge thumbs up.

I arrived home from work and my furnace was making a loud humming noise.   I did a few very minor things to see if that would settle the issue.   I remembered that some of my family used Kohles & Bach previously as I have too.  When I called I was greeted very professionally,  which was nice.  My technician was Brandon.  He was very professional,  nice, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.  He explained everything he was doing very well.
