    Hands down, King Energy is super professional and a pleasure to deal with. We have a geothermal system and the heating was not working, on the first very cold day of the season. I left a message and emailed Val, she was quick to respond and within 1 day, Scot and his technician were at our house and fixed the problem. He had the part on hand, saving time and expense of a return visit. We live over 1 hour from his business and he still made us a priority. My husband and I are beyond grateful for such reliable and intelligent business owners. They deserve 10 stars.

    Thanks to Scot, Bob, and their staff at King Energy! This company is very professional about getting the right geothermal products and installation for their customers. After they replaced the heat pump and fixed major issues of our existing system, we finally have a geothermal system that we had dreamed of!!! We highly recommend geothermal, and from our experiences, King Energy is one of the best and most trustable installers in the market. Let me give backgrounds of our previous, 7-year-old geothermal installed by another company (Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning). The old system already had many major failures in the past. In the first winter, we had at least 8 technician appointments to fix various issues, and for over two months the system was 24/7 running the electric backup heat before the technicians identified the problem. (We found out that because we installed the electricity monitors ourselves before the installing company was willing to fix.) However, after the first year's fixes, we still had inadequate heating in the following winters. Whenever outdoor temperature below 30 degrees, the heat bump shut off and switched to electric backup heat, and we had to reset every time. We couldn't control whether to use electric back up heat, unless the whole machine was turned off. Every couple years we had problems, e.g. refrigerant leak. With the poor geothermal heating, high electric bill from backup heating, and frequent maintenance, we were desperate with our old system. We didn't know if the geothermal is simply not working because our house was built on a rocky hill, or if we had poor installation. But our neighbors who use geothermal system installed by King Energy never encounter those issues and do little maintenance. Finally the compressor of our old system failed after many struggles. Choosing between replacing the compressor by our previous installer or get a brand new heat pump by King Energy, we chose later. One of the best decisions that we made for our house. Bob, one of the owner of King Energy came to inspect our failed system. He arrived on time and took a through inspection of our old geothermal heat pump. He showed us the existing damages of our system (water residues, dented radiator from vibrations of the machine) that we were not told before. He explained to us that our existing heat pump is from a generic/cheaper brand. His company could either replace the compressor or change the whole heat pump with the latest model by a latest Hydron Module machine that his company trusted. Since we are tired of the old system, we have made decision to get the brand new machine. The next day, Scot, the other owner of King Energy gave us a quote. With all the tax credits and rebates, the quote was not much higher than replacing only the compressor. The installation was scheduled within a week. On the day of installation, both owners Bob and Scot, and two of their technicians came to the work site on time before 8am. They removed the failed system and inspected the ground loops. They found out that our ground loops contain only water but no Glycol (anti-freezer) so whenever outside temperature is too lower the water in the ground loops would freeze and the geothermal stopped working (which is consistent with our experiences). Right away Scot sent his technician to get Glycol to fix the problems. They also found that one of the loops contained rocks, so it may not be even functioning at all. The whole team worked effectively, quietly, and professional. They also kept the work site clean and tidy. At around 4pm, our new geothermal system was put to work. Scot gave a walk through of the new system and patiently answered all our questions. The new geothermal heat pump was quieter, more powerful, and more efficient with little maintenance. Thanks to King Energy, we can finally have a peace of mind on heating and a better life quality!

    We knew we had to have our old geothermal system fixed or replaced. Through mutual friends we learned of King Energy and met Scot R. Scot came to our home and assessed our needs to retrofit into a new system. He answered all our questions and concerns in an easy to understand laymen terms. Within a few days Marc and his son who work with King Energy came to see what needed to be done for changing the duct work of our old system. By the next week our new system was installed. The entire crew did an excellent job. Scot and Bob, the owners of King Energy, along with Marc and Sean are great, easy to work with and they all have the experience and know how to get the job done right. All work was done in a timely and professional manner. It was clear from the start that King Energy is a company that cares about their customers and know their product. We are completely satisfied with our new geothermal heating system and found King Energy is there for us. A company that we trust and highly recommend to anyone who thinks of going with a geothermal system. Call them first.
