We had Kidder come out and put a new gas fireplace in to replace a wood burning stove. They were on time, did quick work, and even helped take down the existing chimney (which was really the root of our problem). The guys that came out to do it worked cleanly and were as non-invasive as possible when running gas line. I will say there was a bit of a billing issue at the end of everything and I received a passed due notice even though I had paid the balance the day the work was done but it was taken care of relatively quickly.

Our furnace went out in the middle of the night and they came right out and fixed it. It was a frigid 14 degrees outside so we appreciated the quick fix They were awesome. It was about 2 in the morning. Highly recommend!

My father is 88 year old had his heat exchanger go out on January 5th. The service tech came out and ordered the part that was under warranty but he had him pay 928.00 for labor. The part took took over a week to get delivered because it sat in a warehouse waiting for more deliveries to the area. The part finally came in on the 12th the service call was less then two hours to install. Do the math they charged my father over 300.00 an hour. He is charged 18.00 a month to be a “member” please don’t use this company they are no longer a local company
Response from the owner
We're sorry you feel that we are charging too much, but we believe you are misunderstanding what the price we charged covers. The charge covers sending out a highly trained technician to your house to diagnose your issue and provide the service needed to fix the issue. We sent a trained tech out to the home. He was there for over an hour checking the furnace. He found the heat exchanger was bad using a combustion analyzer and he quoted the repair costs which the customer accepted. We ordered the heat exchanger and had to pay warranty processing fees. Once it was made available, another technician came out and spent two more hours installing the heat exchanger. These are upfront prices which the customer agreed to. Thank you.
