Travis and his team did a great job installing new ductwork in our crawl space to the existing vents. They made sure all debris was removed and the system was clean. They were on time, efficient, respectful and thorough! The cleanup was great. Will definitely use Keeven again.
Response from the owner
Thanks Jo! We'll be sure and let Travis and his crew know you were happy with their work!

Utilized Keeven to replace heat pumps with geothermal. When the vertical well fields didn't go as hoped they quickly adapted to horizontal line boring and were able to get that quickly installed. They were able to resize duct and get both systems and water heaters replaced and phased over so we were not without heat or water for any real duration of time. I would definitely recommend them especially for geothermal since it is mostly what they do. Overall it's an expensive proposition but from what I am seeing I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks Dana! Sometimes Mother Earth throws us a curve ball and we have to change the game plan.

Keeven installed my Geo system and I had been happy with them. This summer, the system shut off. They responded quickly. I was charged $123 for the diagnostics, hand tighten a plastic fitting that was leaking (the issue), and to boost the loop field. Came home after the work had been done and plastic coupling was still leaking. I called the technician and he stated he would have to come back out and replace the fitting. Keeven requested $180.00 more to come back out and fix the issue correctly. I declined. I can understand that they may not carry all the parts to correct issues out in the field. The technician could have easily ran to a hardware store or butler supply for the 1 inch coupling and made the repair right. I contacted the company to tell them how unhappy I was about the situation and received a phone call from Larry Keeven. He was unapologetic and offered no solutions. His main response was that the system has never had a problem in eight years. This will be the last time I ever call Keeven Heating & Cooling or refer any business to them. Update 05/03/2021. I have had another contractor performing service on the Geothermal system since the poor service performed by Keeven. Each time the contractor came out, the system had low pressure, just as it had when Keeven's tech came and "tightened" a nut, added water and boosted the system. The system is down again and my current contractor states I have a line leak and suggested I call the installer for possible warranty work. New wells cost 2k each. The system is just now 10 years old I was told the lines have a 50-60 year life. Since I have posted an honest review of Keeven's prior service, he will not even check his work. He stated that he knows that the lines are not leaking. Update 5/14/2021: Had Hartley come to change fittings however, Geo Flow system had been ram nailed straight to concrete wall. There was not enough room to unscrew fittings. This must be why the original Keeven tech didn't fix the fittings properly. Now the geoflow has to be removed and installed properly. This requires the lines to be flushed and re -charged, and remove any air from lines. Summary: 20k invested in system. Looking to have to spend another 8k on system due to "possible" faulty work. Customers beware.
