    Awesome company. Reasonable, reliable and effecient. I own a dog kennel and animal shelter. It is critical that my ac unit work. Though I have a back up wall unit, I know that this company will come over immediately if my ac unit goes down. My old unit crapped out three years ago in 100 degree weather and the back up was barely maintaining. The company owner and several staff members were here at 6 am to make it happen. I have been pleased ever since with biannual maintenance and a professional attitude. They are straight forward, polite and on time. All of those qualities matter to me as a busy business owner. I would not use anyone else ever again. Pleased as punch as they say here in the south.

    I had this company come to give me an estimate for a new A/C because mind had died 4 days prior. I had 2 companies before they arrived and both said my unit needed to be replaced, period. Mark with Jack Strickland came to give me an estimate, he had a co-worker with him and they asked if they could take a look at the unit. 30 minutes later my A/C was working. I was shocked, they told me it is a temporary fix and said it may quit tonight but my guess is it will last a week or two until I could get a new one installed. The best thing is when I tried to pay them they said no charge just consider them when I make my choice and to give them a good recommendation. You do not see to much customer service like this anymore.

    Unfortunately dealing with Jack Strickland A/C here in Jacksonville FL. has been a very disappointing experience. The people I've dealt with were actually very nice but the problems started 2 years ago in May when we were told by Jack Strickland A/C that we needed a new A/C unit, not knowing much about these units we bought one from Jack Strickland for over $5000. They didnt replace anything except the unit, so they used all the old plumbing, water regulator, pumps etc. It seemed to be working fine although our electric bill skyrocketed to $700+ the first 3 months, when we called Jack Strickland they said it was normal, maybe replace air filter. We also noticed that the pump & irrigation water used to cool the a/c was on all the time even when the a/c was off, Also the fan was hardwired to run constantly even when a/c was off, there was no way to turn the fan off. I called Jack Strickland in September and they came out and said the water coming out continuously with the pump running continuously was normal and proceeded to charge me $89 service call. This was only 4 months after installation, no warranty to cover service calls? We had chose to use the a/c very little since it was costing so much money & the cost of the pump running 24/7 was costing so much, we thought it was normal since that is what Jack Strickland A/C said. I called them again in may to see if they could figure out why the water wasnt being regulated as the a/c demanded (1 year after installation & we were out of town for about a 6 months) I was charged for Daniel to spray something into a pvc pipe and he changed my air filter and charged me $115. He told me he would get an estimate on the water regulator, that it was the cause of the water/ pump problem. No one called me back. I bought portable a/c units when the pump wasnt coming on anymore so the a/c unit didnt cool the house. I called Jack Strickland A/C a couple of weeks ago & Daniel came out and told me that the pressure switch on the pump went out but said they dont work on pumps so I would have to get someone out to fix it, but he proceeded to tweek the pressure switch so that the pump came on, he said to run it until it doesnt run any more & to call an electrician to have it replaced. Within 2 hours the pump was on fire and was burning the bushes around the pump and melted the pressure switch area on the pump. I called Jack Strickland A/c to see if they would help me pay for the new switch that was melted or maybe refund me the money they charged me for coming out and catching my house on fire and after talking to Neil, Daniel, the secretary no one called me back. They caught my house on fire! & they chose to ignore me rather than make things right. I guess I need to file an insurance claim. I called Partridge well Co. and they were awesome & fixed the pressure switch and did more than I expected. 5 Stars for Partridge Well Co. 0 Stars for Jack Strickland A/C.
