  93 degree day and the A/C stops working. Thought I’d have to leave the island since inside the house was reaching 85 and my dog and I are miserable. Island Air to the rescue. The appointments were booked but the office worked a miracle. Very fast, affordable, kind, and caring. Thank you!

  Nice people until they where told their prices where to high. They wanted to charge $7400 to replace units. Same work priced at many other places ran $5000. Got mad had an attitude when they where told we could get it much cheaper and ask if they wanted to cut the price a little. Got the work done much cheaper.

  Sorry you took the owner's reply as "getting mad". He in no way got mad. You stated to him that you could have your people install the systems much cheaper and asked if we would service them. He simply stated that we were not interested in servicing the systems if you were having someone else install them. I would think you would want those people to service them as well. My question would be, how can someone give you a price to install new systems when they haven't surveyed the job?

  We bought a heat pump from Island Air about 11 years ago. They have really impressed us through the years. They are highly competent and reasonable folks. The owner's ultimate concern appears to be customer satisfaction and making money, of course.
