I read endless reviews across Yelp and Google. I had 4 companies come to the home and provide insight, suggestions and ultimately estimates on installing a mini-split ductless AC/heater. HVAC took top marks across everything. Personable introduction to the company with the VP and eventually a crew of 4 that did the installation. Respectful, clean, thorough work on instal and each person happy to answer my endless questions about this and that. Also relieved that they were careful in their work on an old home with lathe and plaster walls. Would use them again if the need arises.

I had a great experience working with Simon (estimate, phone support) and Eric (installation).
The communication is clear, decisions are supported with documentation, work is done well, the space is left nice and clean.
They had someone in the office who did the checks of the city regulations regarding what solutions were allowed.
They considered my requests and fulfilled those possible within the code. They even carefully replanted a rose bush that was in the way of the unit placement.

Just had Insulation Gurus put new blown-in cellulose insulation in my attic (all the old insulation had been removed months earlier by another company so new HVAC ducting could be installed up there). Jacob was very helpful and responsive in preparing the quote and answering questions. And Brian and his crew did a friendly thorough job with the actual insulation (vacuuming beforehand, air-sealing cracks, baffling soffit vents, and getting the new cellulose layer nice & even).

I can't recommend these guys enough. Simon came out for a quote. Told him what we needed, and he walked me through scope and recommendations, not rushing and taking time to make sure I understood and asked questions. He provided a quote quickly. Quote was higher compared to competitors which made the decision hard. Glad I went with Gurus. Jose and his crew came out and did a bang up job. System works great, team was professional and clean, and job was completed on time, on budget, and to spec. They aren't the cheapest but they are the best.

I called in for an estimate and Simon came in to do that. Once he was done I realized in chatting with him that he was the owner!! He was not trying to get as much money out of us, but trying to get the best possible product at the most reasonable price possible. He even matched us a couple hundred bucks lower that we got from another hvac company's quote. When the installation actually happened, we realized that our current thermostat was not compatible, so he threw in a new thermostat for us for free. I would recommend them to everyone! Ask for Eric Capella to do the installation for you.

HVAC Gurus did a considerable amount of work in our garage -- extending a 240 volt electrical line from the breaker at the front of the house to the garage, installing a Mitsubishi 12,000 BTU mini-split AC/heater, insulation of the walls and attic, installing a programmable thermostat, and adding six ceiling lights to the garage.

Some highlights:
1. Pricing -- highly competitive; total bid was ~ $3000 less than others
2. Quality -- excellent, especially the HVAC installation
3. Knowledge of products -- incredible.  Most people do not pay as much attention to their HVAC as they do to say a car or a computer.  That's not me.  I wanted a very specific high end model and they got me that one.
4. Design -- very good.  I had extensive discussions with Simon, the owner, at my garage before the work started to consider options.  If you don't want to get a general contractor and architect, these guys are the next best thing.
5. Communication -- very good.  Priya is the coordinator and is very easy to work with.
6. Professionalism -- Workers are friendly and competent.  They made sure everything was impeccable after each day of work.

These guys really hit the sweet spot between price and quality for an extensive renovation.

HVAC Gurus came recommended from Attic Pros. We needed a new furnace (old one was from the 1950s). Lior (Leo) Zeevi, one of the owners, conducted the onsite visit at our home. He was friendly, honest, and walked me through all the options (furnace, smart thermostat, install options, etc.). The following week, their technician Eric Capella arrived to install the furnace (Carrier 59TP6B with 96 efficiency rating) and Ecobee smart thermostat. Eric was respectful, professional, and helped explain all the items he was installing. We're so happy we chose HVAC Gurus and would definitely recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors. We've worked with the Gurus before, and so were not surprised with the highest quality work at a very good price when they replaced a number of our ducts.  Hoy and his colleague Gilbert were the consummate professionals.  They were flexible as new needs arose during the project, and got it done right.  We could not be happier.

Joe was the technician that came and fixed our central AC. He did a fantastic job!!! First of all, he came on time and he explained the whole process thoroughly! He then started the work and was done within timely manner. Most importantly, he left the floors clean, or even cleaner than how it was. He cleaned our AC vents, vacuum and dryer vent! I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would recommend them to anyone who wants fast and clean service!

I was looking to install a min split system in my house, I chatted with about 7 different HVAC  companies and with all I felt like they are either trying to over charge me or just unprofessional.

When I got to talk to Simon from HVAC Gurus, I automatically realized I am about to do business with a great guy, honest and professional. On the first call Simon told me exactly what the job will look like and priced it VERY fair!

His team came by on the schedule time and within 3 hours they were done, super professional guys, did the end to end job, from the power, to the indoor and outdoor unit install and add to that they made sure everything is clean when they left.

An hour later I got a call from Simon confirming everything went ok which just put the last nail on showing me how much him and his team were worth my business.
