Our AC went out in July and we contacted several companies. Howell Chase responded quickly. Our technician was Sage. He was very knowledgeable and explained what was going on.
My wife is also immunocompromised . He wore a mask and spoke to us about light systems that could help cut down on allergens in the home.
We took his advice and had the light installed . Sage was great with his recommendation and installation . There is a difference in our home with less dust and other allergens in the air.

We had a heating problem in our home, which made it hard to stay warm all the time. We called Howell Chase and Javier was our technician. He addressed the problem and went straight to working. He was very respectful and wore his mask when stepping into the house. He explained what the issue was and before we knew it the heater was up and running. He did a great job.

We have been using this company for many years and we have always been very happy with their service.  Today we had our maintenance and Dominick Williams, our technician, was extremely professional and provided excellent service.  My husband and I highly recommend Howell-Chase and Dominick Williams as your technician.

Moth my wife and I found Zion most cordial when he arrived.  He then went to work checking our air conditioning unit. He shared with us that our unit is working properly and putting out sufficient heat.  Then went outside to check the equipment.  On his return he reviewed what he found and explained that one piece of equipment what showing wear. He then said that he would forward an estimate to make the repair by email.  He then asked if we had a good turkey day.  We and and we asked of him as well.
We would welcome Zion back again.

I have always had a great experience with H-C. However, I have to rate the service from Dominick as exceptional. He kept me informed all the while of what was being done and, since my outdoor unit is on the roof of my condo building, he showed me before and after photos as well as a video of my unit when he chemically cleaned the condenser coil. He is very thorough, courteous and conscientious.

I have been using Howell-Chase since we moved to Hilton Head in 2012. When our heat started failing during this cold snap Howell-Chase was quick to act. The problem was diagnosed and the part was ordered. I know they are overwhelmed with "no heat" calls so to get this fixed so quickly was amazing. Cora Halpin in the office is wonderful. She researches product information for us and always always follows through with a call back. I love that. Lisander Medrano did a professional job installing the new coil. He was fast and efficient yet took the time to answer any questions we had. It is very evident that he loves his job and is proud of the work he does which I find refreshing. He was very neat, respectful of our property and cleaned up beautifully. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the heating and cooling systems. I am sure Howell-Chase is proud to have these two team players on board.

Our appointment was convenient and easy to arrange with our schedule.
Our HVAC tech Dominick just left after performing our initial service.  He  was knowledgeable about our heating and cooling system. He left us feeling we had made the right choice selecting Howell & Chase.  In addition he shared some good restaurants to try in Bluffton and Savanah  and his recipe for Seafood Lasagna.
