I am a very satisfied Hollister customer.  I have used their services on multiple occasions.  They include the addition of a waste clean-out, annual service to my boiler, and the purchases / installations of a commode, kitchen faucet and water heater.  I have always found the office and service personnel to be skillful, professional and efficient at their jobs.  Additionally their pricing is very reasonable. I worked with John Purdy the past few years and being his employee. He is dishonest, says repairs need to be done when they really don't need to be. John was a good boss until you do something that makes him upset then his Christianity goes right out the window. John is dishonest and if you hire them to do a job plan on replacing some other stuff that didn't need replaced. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hollister was extremely responsive in our time of need! Their price was reasonable for a new water supply line, and they didn't leave until everything was just right. Hollister is very professional and mindful of people's homes from the moment they start a job until the job is finished.  I would highly recommend and thanks, Hollister, for everything!

We've gotten water in our finished basement since about 2008 whenever we've received a heavy rain or rain over the course of several days, enough to soak the indoor-outdoor carpeting in our finished basement great room and cover a large part of our laundry room floor.

We called Hollister, and John Purdy recommended a unique hybrid dewatering solution that addressed our specific situation: outdoor excavation and heavy duty tiling to keep water away from the house where Hollister could get down to the footings of our house and an indoor, below-the-floor solution in our laundry room along the wall perimeter below our garage and large deck where Hollister could not get to our footings in a nondestructive and cost-effective way from outside the house. (Another, well-known regional dewatering company offered only their one-size-fits-all indoor solution, which would have required removing and replacing drywall along the entire perimeter of our finished great room, our stairway, and the floor tile and drywall from our basement bathroom.)

Throughout the process, Hollister communicated well, answered our numerous questions, professionally addressed all issues that arose during the work, and followed up both during and after the actual work.

In addition to providing a solution that has already kept our basement dry during two multi-day periods of significant rain in the last month--periods that, in the last 13 or so years, would have undoubtedly required hours of repeated and tedious water removal with a wet-dry shop vac--Hollister provides a guarantee that covers the lifetime of the house and subsequent owners.

We really appreciate our new-found peace of mind and actually enjoy rainstorms again!

Amazing!! This is where you want to call. Hollister came yesterday and I was shocked when I seen my bathroom, I was expecting a mess. All I had to do was basic cleaning and disinfecting and I'm a particular person so that says alot. My neighbor had her drains unclogged from a different company a few years ago and I helped her clean up after, it was awful. I thought that was just part of it. I'm so impressed I had to leave my first Google review!

I requested an estimate for repairing my basement and bush removal. John arrived on time, and ready to conduct business. It was easy to tell that he was very knowledgeable, and he spoke everything in terms that was easy to understand. He was able to work up the quotes on location, which was nice and proved that he knew what he was doing. I look forward to having him work on my house.

Scott was very fast at responding to us. When we were all panicked he made sure that we understood that it was fixable and that it happens. He worked very hard and he made sure that we were satisfied with the work. He helped us understand everything that he had to do and he answered all of our questions. We just overall thought he did an amazing job and he was very friendly. We really appreciate all the hard work that was done and we will definitely be calling you when we have an issue. Hollister is the best company in the area. I had water coming up threw cracks in my basement,  they had to redo my drain pipe. Clay and Michael did an awesome job on site. They are honestly friendly workers. I highly recommend Hollister for any plumbing services!

We just had a general plumbing and ac/heater semiannual check. Both of the techs that came were extremely professional and I was comfortable with them in my home. The plumber was very matter a fact and clearly knew what he was looking for and doing. The ac/heater guy was also super professional and came in, did his work, with no issues. I enjoyed having both technicians in my home.

Boston with Hollister's installed a new breaker panel and also brought our meter to code, with a new meter base, new wire, new meter mast, and new ground all involving work inside and outside our home and working with Ameren to coordinate turning off power. He did an excellent job, worked hard all day, explained everything, guided us on question we have concerning rewiring we are doing ourselves in the basement after this install and was just a pleasant, all around great guy. Pleasure to talk to and did superb work. He also ended up staying late to finish the job so we would have our power back on, and it was very much appreciated that he did that. I would recommend Boston at Hollister's for any of your  electrical needs.
