I can never get in touch with anyone, not even supervisors

Went for the vaccine. A lady that worked there in the intake was SOOOOO RUDE!!!  We left without getting vaccinated. But HUGE KUDOS to the folks at HOKE COUNTY DSS!!

A year later and I was treated very poorly.(See below for previous review) My rating went from 4 stars to 1! It makes me so disappointed that despite all my efforts I couldn't get a simple response from anyone I contacted via email or phone, even when I went up there I didn't get a straight answer. I am beyond upset. It is also very apparent (with exception of a few) that the employees are more selfish than selfless! Really, if you don't want to be in social work find something more suitable for yourselves. Certain employees, including the supervisor,  will not follow up with you when you reach out by email or phone. No reply or acknowledgement that you even exist. Social workers will know something is wrong with your application and fail to notify you in time. The negligence will cause you to lose your benefits. Be aware of this when you go to apply for assistance. I don't know what happened between last year and this year but it needs to be addressed.

2018 Review-Minus the lack of phone services, when I actually went up here everyone treated me with respect, was very helpful, and kind. I was able to get what I needed very quickly after turning in the needed documents and I appreciate the professionalism and hard work of the staff. Thank you April for your dedication and prompt service.
