  I’ve used them in the past, but I was disappointed this time. I was charged $105 for ~2 minutes worth of work, which could’ve been diagnosed over the phone. The issue: banging noise when furnace blower fan started running. The fix: open a few air ducts. Definitely would not use again. They could’ve told me to try that over the phone. The technician didn’t even look at the furnace to make sure it was in proper working order. I expected at least a cursory glance of the furnace for $105. I was charged $105 for a guy to walk in my house and open 2 air ducts.

  I recently used Herczog Heating and AC to inspect the heating system (hydronic) at my house. Five days after some relatively minor cleaning and adjustments ($410) my system needed a new aquastat ($875). A total of $1285 later and no detailed invoice, I have to say that I'm wondering.... However, because I needed the work done quickly I guess I paid for it.
