  We found an old lost dog laying on the roadside. Our vet was backlogged, so we took him to the shelter. The people at the shelter gently got him out of our SUV and cared for him. They checked and found his chip, gave us his case # so we can follow what happens to him. Great people, I have a lot of respect for them.

  Found this cute dog on Airline RD on a Wednesday. I called rescue they said to call animal control and they would pick him up on Monday. I called animal control Monday morning they said they put the dog down. I think because it was a pit bull mix but they said the dog would not keep food down and would not move. When I found the dog the leash was attached and he came to me and we waited until animal control showed up and the animal tech gave him a can of food and he was doing great. I will never call animal control again!!

  Worst attitudes over the phone. Sandy whoever that is that answers the phone is not nice. And apparently dogs are not allowed to bark because if they do you get a notice about your dogs barking! How the heck do you stop your dogs from barking. Instead of worrying about dogs barking they need to worry about picking up stray dogs in this heat. Never have i ever had an animal control officer tell me my dogs were barking too much! Its what they do! How can you stop a dog from barking.
