  Had an unexpected (!!!) backup in our septic system. Never having OWNED a house before, my wife and I were like, "Uhhhhhh...that doesn't seem right...?!" and after doing a little mental gymnastics realized that it was time to find a plumber who made emergency house calls. Went down the Google rabbit hole, found Heckeroth Plumbing & Heating with a ton of great reviews. Called them, got through immediately, explained the situation to the kind woman who answered, who then gave my information to their lead tech who was presumably handling calls for the day and explained to him when he called what was up. He said one of their plumbers would be over in an hour or so. And sure enough, about an hour later Joe Roman shows up. Walked him through the house and what was going on, showed him where the septic tank was buried and he reassured me that it was solvable. And less than an hour later he was done and packing up his truck. I know that owning a house is a never-ending adventure with a steep learning curve from time to time, but it was a joy to have someone who was calm, didn't freak me or my wife out, explained what was happening and then just went about his business solving it. In this day and age, professionalism, attention to detail and patience are an awesome collection of skillsets that make one grateful that Google reviews exist and were able to point me toward Heckeroth and ultimately Joe. Many thanks are in order. And now for a tall glass of Guinness!

  Great emergency service. Promised to arrive in an hour and arrived on time. Quickly identified and addressed the problem. Great professional service, would use again. Actually advertises and delivers on “emergency” service

  I had a very unpleasant experience dealing with this company. I had a water heater installed and I’m still having issues with it. They’ve returned to my residence within a year of installation in attempt to fix the issue. However, I’m still experiencing the same issue to this day which led me to believe it was an installation error. I tried to explain my situation with an operator. However, she kept repeating that I would be charged for a dispatch since I’m out of warranty and would not hear me out. She was rude and condensing, and hung up on me after I requested to speak to a manager. A customer should not pay for a company’s mistake when they did not do the job correctly in the first place. I will be going with another company with my plumbing needs.
