WE WERE CHARGED $460 FOR A $45 FIX! My mom's dryer quit heating one day. So she called this place to have a repair guy come take a look. He charged $110 to come look at it and quoted it would be a $350 fix. From my understanding he wasn't very transparent about what he was fixing either. So I took a look at it after watching a couple YouTube videos. I tested the fuses and found a faulty thermostat fuse. Taking the guy's advice on youtube I replaced the therm fix fuse and the thermostat fuse. The parts were a bit expensive here compared to other places online (almost double) but we were willing to pay for convenience factors and a easy returning process just in case. It ended up being a $45 fix. Apposed to a $460 bill he would've charged us. The ladies at the counter are nice but the service guys cannot be trusted. And the dryer is currently running great.

Your mother was never charged or quoted $460. If you want your posts to be taken seriously only state true facts. Your review should not even be allowed as part of the Google review process as you were not even our client, and you weren’t there during the diagnosis or the quoted repair. The response to your mother’s review… Ms. Henson, You called our service department and requested that our factory trained professionals come to your home and diagnosis what was wrong with your dryer. Our service secretary informed you that the cost to come out and diagnose was $110. Competing service companies that cover the Wasatch Back charge $130 + just to come to your door, we feel our price is fair & competitive. When he arrived, he did what he was hired to do (diagnose the issue with your dryer) and told you exactly what part you needed. He was very transparent in that he told you that you needed a new thermal fuse, which he did not have on hand, but would have to order. He also quoted you the total repair price which was just under $300. This price included the service charge of $110 plus the parts and the labor to install it correctly. It also would have guaranteed that part for 1 year as we ONLY buy OEM parts from the factory; which you do not get when ordering from outlets such as Amazon or Ebay. It was after the technician left that you and your son decided that you would do the repair yourself, according to him, after training yourself on You Tube. You then called our service department again and asked for the part numbers that the technician had said would be necessary for the repair, to which Julie contacted the technician to get the exact parts and sold to you directly. The “$155 for what should’ve been a $30 fix” was for the initial $110 service call/diagnosis PLUS the $36 in parts plus applicable tax. We provided the service that you hired us to do and you chose to not allow us to repair the dryer. A no-review would have been far more appropriate than a 1 star review.

Sierra was my contact person and she couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. We were in a bind to get a washer/dryer installed immediately since we had renters arriving for our Vrbo. Sierra came through for me in spades!! She communicated often, was upbeat & couldn’t have been more effective in getting the job done. I will absolutely use Heber Appliance again and give them an A +

Our dryer quite heating, we called a repairman to come out and look at it. The service call was $110, the repairman said he needed to order a part, but wasn’t transparent about what part it was, and said it would be about $350 to fix it. My son took a look at it and tested some fuses and found one without a complete circuit, so we ordered a thermal fuse and a therm fix from Heber Appliance which they charge almost double for. Bottom line is, we had to figure out what was wrong, and repair it ourselves. We were charged $155 for what should’ve been a $30 fix.
