  As an HVAC contractor, I need Manual J & S reports all the time. We tried other companies, and Heat Load USA is the most knowledgeable company I have found, and they constantly get the reports to us on a timely basis. I often use the next-day service, but that costs extra. Usually I send them what equipment is going in and do a duct layout and they follow that. A detailed floor plan is also needed with measurements, and insulation amounts.

  We have been using Heat Load USA for our Manual J D & S reports for over five years. They consistently provide excellent results. A month ago, I needed the report that very day, and they dropped everything for me. All my reports have been accepted at my local Denver CO building department. Thank you!

  We hired this company to do manual D, J and S calculations for our home we personally designed and are currently building. He charged us $690, said he would create two different reports for us and would be a 4-5 day turn around. It ended up taking over three weeks, and he asked me to draw the duct layout... im not an HVAC guy or I wouldnt be looking to have this done. I got the reports finally but only recieved one set of reports instead of two. My impression was we would get two, one lower end system and one higher end system, to have a range of options. We forwarded them to several companies for quotes. They all quickly contacted me back and asked for clarifications. The first floor is almost 4,000 square feet and he recommended a 1.5 ton unit. He also only has one return for the entire first floor, and put minimal ducts throughout the house. A 600 sq ft living room probably need more than one air supply. The 14x18 master bedroom only had one supply. This is our dream home, and we want it to be done perfect. We are not spending 500k building a home that we are uncomfortable in. We are building on the coast of South Carolina so we have very high heat/humid days. We especially wanted our HVAC to be properly constructed. We emailed him for clarifications and he never responded. I finally called him and he had a bad attitude. He said if anyone disputes it, they can run the calculations themselves. That the manuals do not lie. I definitely wasted my money as I have had to rehire another company as his are useless to us. I didnt bother to contact him again because I do not expect a reply.

Customer service is always our top priority, Anytime we cannot meet the customer's expectations or requirements we will politely decline a job or project, upfront. We do see that your home is 3,000 square feet, not 4,000 square feet of conditioned space, and we had some questions on the report. If you want to, we will be totally happy to go into a detailed review with you. While we pride our attention to detail and how we do load calcs , we are human, and if we have done anything wrong, we will fix. Your satisfaction is our highest priority and would have preferred you call us again and talk to us, rather then resorting to a negative review. No small business wants negative reviews. If there is anything we can do, please contact us and let's talk and resolve this.
