      I used Grasp for this year's annual HVAC maintenance. Overall I would describe my experience as feeling disappointed and overcharged. I chose Grasp because they have good customer service on the phone and a professional looking business. The technician that came was also friendly. However, $95 for "checking" the unit and an undisclosed $25 charge for replacing a p-trap is absurd. My biggest issue is that they did not clean the outside unit. It is filled with pieces of garbage, dirt, leaves, and cobwebs... The TRANE manufacturer website lists standard maintenance that a dealer will provide; the second item listed is, "Clean dirt, leaves and debris from inside cabinet". So Grasp isn't even doing what the manufacturer says to "maintain" the unit. It personally boggles my mind how hiring a company to do routine maintenance (i.e. keeping things working) would leave the very particles and objects that breakdown these units inside of them. What I do know is that out of the four competing HVAC businesses in Douglas, they all charge between $85-95 for routine HVAC maintenance (for 2017; up from $55 in 2016). However, the other companies clean out and hose down the outdoor fan/condenser included in that maintenance whereas Grasp charges an additional $45! My conclusion: Grasp is a polite and professional company that is tainted with very poor value for your money with what I would consider potentially deceptive (at best unclear) practices. I won't be using them again.

      My air conditioning has been out for 6 weeks in the middle of summer in Arizona. I had two other HVAC companies come out and tell me my compressor was grounded and I needed to replace the entire unit. My home warranty company sent GRASP Plumbing out and he fix my air conditioning the same day. The unit did not need to be replaced, the compressor was not grounded, less than $200 later I had air conditioning in the home warranty covered every bit of it. I would recommend this company to anyone with an HVAC problem.

      Very disappointed and over charged! I purchased a new unit not even 2 years ago. Called them because unit wasn’t blowing cold air. They told me that it needed a new filter and that they had to clean the coil, cost me $171 to do this! A couple weeks later I had to call them for the same issue. Now this time they told me that the unit needed the motor replaced, lucky enough that part was under warranty however I was charged $196. They misdiagnosed the first call which I feel I shouldn’t have to pay a second time. I made my case with them, Mario didn’t care, for him it was all about collecting almost $400 within a couple weeks timeframe. Conclusion: company is not very trustworthy, they misdiagnose to make money on a few visits as was my case. Not very customer focused, they didn’t care how I felt. On the initial 2nd call they told me it was going to be $180 but turned out to be $196. DONT TRUST this company especially Mario!!!!
