First let me start by saying that we were forced to use Four Seasons through a home warranty that we had purchased. I don't know if perhaps they perform better service with customers that contact them directly, but I wanted to add that caveat in case that is the case. Anyway, we had this company come service our AC because our unit was having a hard time keeping up with a difference in temperature of only about 10 degrees. We had been told that there might be a freon leak, so we provided this information to the tech who came to service our unit. He told us that everything was fine and that it was just hot outside more or less and the unit couldn't keep up. Later that same day our coils froze, and my wife called to try to get some actual assistance, The receptionist was exceptionally rude to her, and hung up mid sentence. She did convey our information to someone who called a minute later, and was helpful in teaching us how to unfreeze our coils, and who scheduled the tech to come out the next day. The same tech returned, said that our freon was low after all, but that there was no leak again and left. A month later we started seeing the same problems, so we decided not to make a claim through our home warranty and to instead call Prudential who we had worked with in the past, and had a great relationship with. Within 10 minutes they found the leak and were able to fix the issue. The difference in customer service from start to finish with the exception of one employee from Four Seasons was night and day, and we will never work with them again because of this. I hope the one helpful employee we spoke to can teach his colleagues some professionalism, or that he can go to work for a better company because his customer service alone saved them from a 1 star review.

For those who just need a short answer; Four Seasons gets two thumbs up! On Saturday morning, I put in a service request through our homeowner warranty and Four Seasons was assigned to our repair. Concerned by the Google Reviews, I reached out to our warranty company first thing Monday morning and requested a new company. The warranty company was in the process of obliging when we received a call from Four Seasons. To their credit, the service technicians were on site before a new company could be assigned. (check - responsive). My initial decision to politely thank and decline their services was changed based on my conversation with Dave from Four Seasons. When I explained our reluctance, Dave was polite, (check) professional (check) and understanding. He explained what he believed was wrong with our unit and offered to check, with no obligation (check - thorough AND customer focused!) He asked if I had checked their BBB rating.. (ummm, nope) and when I did... I was humbled. Four Seasons is an A+ Rated company and have been for 35 years. Needless to say, I asked Dave to proceed with the repair. 15 minutes later, he replaced my faulty capacitor, checked the coolant level and made sure the unit was properly working (cooling). Thank you, Dave and Four Seasons. I have a cooler home to live in, warmer heart for Four Seasons, and a more informed mind. Do your homework. I am aware of the hypocrisy of my next statement but feel compelled to say it anyway. Google reviews aren't everything. In this case, the poor ratings for Four Seasons are completely wrong.

Basically what every one else is saying about horrible customer service and refusing to work on your AC is 100 percent accurate. Do yourself a favor and if your home warranty dispatched them to look at your AC beg them to get someone else. Had someone come out because of a leak in June. They say “yup it’s a leak, but all I can do is charge your AC and that’s it.” Great. Month goes by AC still not cooling the house due to the leak. Get them to come out again. Guy shows up and instantly wanting me to buy a new unit instead of looking at mine. He also says “yup you have a leak, but your Freon is decent so since it’s not the same issue you owe us 100 dollars.” (But it is) all he did was hook his hoses up to the AC didn’t show me the level of my Freon and then proceeds to try and sell me a new AC unit to “bypass the warranty”. They don’t want to fix your AC they just want to sell you a new one and make commission and money off of the warranty customers. If you want your AC fixed, then I repeat do not use. Horrible.
