We’ve used them plenty of times in the past and almost everything has been great. Last summer we got a thermostat on our cooler replaced and a year later they charged us for another one on the same exact cooler because it was doing the same exact thing that they supposedly fixed. Then recently I’ve called twice and my husband has called once and each time they say someone will be right out and nobody comes. We have a store with chocolate in it and it’s very important it doesn’t get super hot. When I called this last time the man said “if the A/C wasn’t working it would be 100 degrees in there.” Well, it’s 90 degrees and still nobody has come. Edit: they came and fixed the cooler

Pros: Nelson was referred by a friend and he did not disappoint. Nice guy who knows HVAC. He also has an awesome office mgr- Shelly, who is ALWAYS pleasant. Prices are EXTREMELY fair and work is above par to many of the big box HVAC companies we've dealt with in the past. We would not hesitant to refer them. Cons: Follow up sometimes falls through the cracks and you have to call back for whatever question you had. We understand that they are a small business and that summer months especially probably keep them really busy so it didn't bother us but something to think about if you know that is a pet peeve for you. Overall, would DEFINITELY do business with again. Someone referred Foster and Sons to me and I would not hesitate to do the same.

The first time I used this company about a year and a half ago, everything was great. They fixed my heat at the time and they gave me a good rate. But, I called this company last year because the AC at my shop stopped working. They told me that they would send a technician to check the problem the same day, but no one showed up. I called them back the next day and Shelly apologized about the problem and told me again that someone would be at my shop by 3:00pm that same day... again no one showed up. Finally, on the third day, I called them again and someone finally showed up and fixed the problem. So this year, at the same shop the AC stopped working again. I called them back and they told me that someone would be out the same day. It's been 4 days now and I've called them every single day since to get someone out and they still haven't showed up. Shelly tells me that "we're on the list, but we're really backed up right now. I'll give you a call by 3:00pm to keep you updated." but I never get a call. So I called again today since I never got the update and since a tech never came out, and she tells me that we're number 6 on the list, but they are bumping us further back because of a priority customer...? Seriously? Just because you're going to be making more from one job over the other does not give them priority. Also, to tell me "maybe you should just hire someone else" is bad business. Sorry Fosters, you had my business but you've lost it now.
