  I went there for about a year, the first red flag to me was that this school didn’t even know who was supposed to be in what class the first day, then when you enroll and pay your tuition they charge you 1,000 for brand new tools and out of a class of 22 I was the only person out of all the students that were in AST to get dirty and old used tools that they charged me for, the instructors pick favorites along with the fact that I felt very forgotten about because of negligence by the staff. It was probably my worst experience out of any school I’ve been to along with the fact that they are so hard on attendance but you just sit around and look at a wall all day they don’t provide any work for the class all of our lifts were usually taken by the favorites who have been working on their project cars for months and months on end and when you ask the instructor for a lift for an oil change they look at you and walk the other way.

  A lot of programs to offer I have a wonderful instructor ! Mr. Eugene is and amazing and intelligent patient and understanding he is phenomenal and his classes are fun and educational. Sometimes there’s one bad seed in a bunch and my problem falls with the financial aid Lori has an attitude like she doesn’t like her job her communication is at a level one and her attitude is just a turn off. The rest of the office staff is much more helpful much more kind than she is. Overall I’d write the school at five but try to avoid Laurie and speak with somebody else because she will ruin your whole experience

  This is a great start to your future. They have programs that the government pays you to take classes. How can you go wrong. I did the Air conditioning program. Graduated and started out doing new construction installation been there ever since (7yrs). Now Im a supervisor. Great school. Thank you FMTC...
