    I had originally written a glowing review after Seth and his dad completed my energy audit. I do recommend them for the audit. They were professional and provided a detailed report. The repair process has dropped my review to two stars from 5 and I do not recommend them for the repair process. My crawl space is the primary issue where Seth put in insulation to semi condition the space. After 3 months, I noticed the insulation was falling down, and that only partial portions had fasteners to affix it to the wall. Additionally the portions that were stapled at the top were coming off and the staples looked inadequate for the job. When I reached out to Seth his first response was to blame me for him not having room to work in the crawl space as I use it for storage. I had asked him what I should do to prep for the work and he said nothing, and didn't bring it up while he was doing the work. I could have cleared the space for him. After they left and over time, I found 3 pieces of their equipment in my house that they had left. A battery on a charger in my garage, and then a knife and fasteners in the crawl space. Additionally, I discovered that Seth had littered in my crawl space, in some cases, stuffing the backing of the insulation into bricks that were in the crawl space. I had two other competitors to FAST-IR come out and assess the situation as I wasn't sure I trusted Seth to repair the original work in a way that was sustainable. Both professionals didn't think the work was up to professional standard. Seth keeps going to back to what we "agreed." As someone new to that type of work, I didn't know what I didn't know and Seth didn't provide options or education to help. I own not doing my own research. In the future, I will research more so I know better about what to ask on projects I'm not familiar with. What I've found most frustrating is the response from Seth. First he blamed me, then told me I didn't pay for other services I asked about once I knew to ask about it which he never offered to do which I would have happily paid for (sealing the insulation to the plastic in the crawl space which was never offered by him), and then begrudgingly he said he'd come do some repairs. When I found the trash stashed in the crawl space it tipped the scales for me that I didn't want FAST-IR back at my house as I found that unprofessional and disrespectful. Seth and I have gone back and forth a few times, and Seth has not once been accountable to the sub par work, and keeps saying he did what we agreed to, and/or he agreed to come fix what we agreed to. Ultimately, the work done is not a professional or sustainable enough solution so I am going with another vendor which is my choice. I understand there are multiple options out there on how to have this work done. I would have appreciated knowing the those options from Seth up front. If you're looking for a quick fix that's low quality with a lack of attention to detail, go with FAST-IR, otherwise I encourage you to shop other vendors in the area for your repairs. In response to Seth's Response: Seth, I do want it fixed.....I don't trust that the fix you're offering is sustainable long term so am opting for another company which you are right, is my choice. I didn't ask for a full refund. I asked to discuss a good faith refund based on the multiple situations I encountered with your work. Even a simple apology for littering in my crawl space would have been appreciated. Yes, we all make mistakes and how we deal with them is important. Your first response to me was to blame me. That was a hard foot to recover from as a customer. And, you didn't offer right away to come remedy the situation, I had to argue with you to get you to agree to come fix things.

    I am so very sad to hear Mara’s response to our work. We have been in business for 10 years and have done great work. At times things do get missed as I admitted to Mara and also setup a plan to rectify what she thought was a problem. No job is ever perfect and has the possibility of scrutiny. Mara had agreed with us about rectifying the problem, then a couple days later wanted a refund ($). I guess the fix wasn’t what she was really after.
