RUN from this company as quickly as possible, if negative star ratings were possible, I would give them. I looked online at past google reviews before hiring Doug to put an entire HVAC system in my house, and felt confident in my decision to choose him. IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. Overall, Doug is a very friendly person, but I wouldn't trust him to ever work in my home again. My list of grievances are as follows: 1) I hired him in May 2017 to install duct-work, AC, and two furnaces in my home. It is over 1 year later and the job still is not done - only half of the duct-work is done and the two furnaces are not running. 2) It took 2-3 assessment meetings before any work was actually done, and he came sporadically 4-5 times to chip away at the project on my house. I felt like I had to be on call all the time for weeks, but he only made small progress each time he visited. 3) Before installing my AC, he unhooked the swamp cooler in my attic. It then took him 2 more months of work from June-August to actually FINISH the AC install, at which point I had no means of cooling my house due to the swamp cooler being disconnected. Needless to say, it was a miserable summer. 4) Three times during my project he had me call an electrician separately to install various things. $1300 extra in electrical bills not included in the initial base cost. My electrician rolled his eyes every time I called, wondering why Doug couldn't just tell him everything up front. 5) Once AC was finally running by mid-August 2017, I went upstairs to assess my attic. Sawdust, tools, garbage, screws, excess material, etc. had been left all over the attic floor. I eventually gave up trying to get Doug to retrieve his things and cleaned it up myself as it is one of my only areas for storage space. 6) Doug left a furnace and several boxes of duct-work on the lawn in my backyard, directly in front of my shed. This left my shed inaccessible for most of the summer. After several attempts to contact him about finishing my job and moving the items, I eventually called some friends over to help me move them into my crawlspace where they are supposed to be installed. These items are now weather-beaten (I worry about the insulated ducts being ruined), and now there is a large mark on the lawn where the grass has died. 7) I have contacted Doug five times since October and heard nothing back from him. I assume he is choosing to ignore me and is unwilling to finish the job he promised to do. I do have a written contract from him, and it has not been fulfilled. This means I will likely have to dish out hundreds to thousands more to have someone else finish the job. DO NOT HIRE DOUG to work in your house. Save yourself the hassle! It has been nothing but headaches and misery from the beginning, and the end is still not in sight. Sincerely, A neighborhood home owner

Amazing Service! Doug came out so quickly and was so efficient. He told me "he takes care of his neighbors" and he really did. Quick service, knowledgable and affordable. He took the time to explain the system and the problem. He even educated me on what to look for in the future. One of the best experiences I have had with a contractor of any sort. No need to ever look for a different HVAC contractor. Doug has our future business.

Exceptional service! Our AC stopped working over the weekend when it was in the 90's. Rather than waiting until Monday, Doug came out to our house on a Sunday morning to fix it for us. I definitely felt like he went out of his way to help us and get our AC running again as quickly as possible. I highly recommend Elite Air.
