We've had issues with our HRV unit since it was installed. Elander had been coming out almost every season to replace the flex tubing that was retaining moisture and dripping water. The situation has been frustrating, but Elander has been doing their best to figure out what the problem is, while replacing the wet flex tubing. I believe we may have determined what is causing the moisture, and the Elander tech gave us some ideas on how to hopefully avoid the issue going forward. We will make some changes, and see how it goes.

Humidistat does not read correctly. multiple attempts to get then to fix it but they keep sending the same guy who says nothing is wrong. If my thermostat and humidity sensors shows 45-50% then why does my furnace show 70-80%?? That seems like an issue to me. Now that it's winter I have a similar issue where it read 35+ but indoor sensors say 15. A 20% humidity difference is a huge deal. In the spring Im going to have another HVAC company look at it. Oh and this wasn't the only issue-In my brand new house the water heater had to be replaced twice due to bad installs and the vent running to my master bedroom didn't work because they didn't install the system right which required them to pull up all my living room carpet to fix it. Their phone assistants are always nice, but based on the issues I've seen with them to this point I couldn't recommend them.

Issues on two projects. First, Elander installed the new HVAC system in my new home incorrectly, causing problems immediately. Second, Elander installed a garage heater and stated via email they "will need a full day, beginning at 7am." Well the job only took 4 hours, they weren't able to run the gas line in the ceiling as stated and instead it is shown visibly all the way through my garage. When I asked about a cost adjustment since it took half the on-site time as described, they got verbally upset and told me that I was dishonest. They then called it "flat pricing", a term that was never stated in the proposal. If someone says a job will take a "full day, beginning at 7am" and then it only takes 4 hours, should you pay for a full day? The cost per hour was extremely high in my view (something other reviews have also stated). I ended up paying full price to stop them from literally yelling at me.
