DTC in general and Gary Keithley in particular were EXEMPLAR with regard to professionalism - Gary was the consummate pro. he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent and patient educator. i felt I could make a fully informed decision after he went over all my questions and provided me with a basic understanding of the system. He was the driving force behind my decision to purchase a new system from DTC. go with this company and ask for him if you want a new unit!

A Good Neighbor - A/C went out last night and we have someone in the house who just had an operation so it was a bit of an emergency. We called our regular A/C company we've been using for years and they said they would have someone out shortly. Two hours later we called them back and they said they were still trying to fit us into their schedule. We called DTC and told them about the emergency. They had two technicians at the house within ten minutes. Thirty minutes after that the A/C was repaired. Price was reasonable, techs were knowledgeable, and even gave us some free advice during the visit. Dropping everything to come out and help during August, their busiest season. That's above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. Looks like we have a new A/C company. : )

their service agreement is a hoax. i called Barrett to find out why they had not done the first AC check for this year since my unit was not working. he said i am not their only customer and they cannot possibly call everyone. They will gladly take my $275 for the service agreement but cant find the time to call me. He told me their computer reminder pops up 4 months after the agreement begins. Mine started in Jan so the reminder should have come up in May - no call in May, no call in June. i am paying them so i should not have to remember to call them. he repeatedly said the computer pops up a reminder and when i asked why they didnt call me he replied you can always call us, it is impossible for us to call every customer with a serviced agreement. After speaking with him i most certainly did not feel like a valued customer, he showed no concern that i was an upset customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND
