  I have been working with Randy on several projects over the past year. Without hesitation; I can tell you that Randy, and his team, are the best in the Nashville area for renovations and major projects. In the past, I have been blessed with the opportunity to build my own custom houses, and therefore, I have worked with several other contractors. Randy's attention to detail, and expectation of perfection, is unmatched in the industry. I approached him with the difficult task of building a high end custom garage and making it appear as if it was built at the same time as the existing house. He far exceeded my expectations as he used the EXACT same products for the roof shingles, the exterior stone, the garage doors, the gutters, and much more. The quality and workmanship was outstanding and the stone work ( which covered the entire structure) was perfect. I had plans and he adjusted them to increase the quality of the project and improve the appearance as well. Randy sets the standard for the rest of the contractors to follow. He never says no to an idea or project. You want something completed and he finds a way to get the job done. He is always available and he will go out of his way to be there for you and make sure your project becomes your next dream come true. You will never be waiting for days to get a response. If he does not answer right away, you will get a text and he calls you as soon as possible. I am currently working with him on several other major projects and my satisfaction and expectations are exceeded again. I highly recommend Randy for your next project and renovation and I know you will be very pleased with the results.

  We are wrapping up a full house gut and remodel in a conservational overlay district and I have to pass along our contractor’s name. All throughout the past 6 months, I have been eagerly awaiting the chance to recognize him. We talked to no fewer than 10 contractors and briefly worked with two. Randy Ward stood out from the start with his YES mentality. We had started to dread the process and every meeting regarding our home but Randy turned that around for us. We met with him on a Wednesday night and by Friday (at 930pm!), he had sent a full estimate. That alone was recognizable because many people had promised an estimate and just never followed up. Randy was clearly a hard worker and a man of his word. Then, he just said YES. He said yes to our contract requests, yes to our project, and yes to our excitement. Previously, we had felt that contractors had been obstructionists (we can’t do that, that isn’t possible, here’s why that won’t work) but Randy was just so darn excited about our project that he made us excited again. Every idea I had, he was on board with or he improved upon. If it truly wouldn’t work, he explained why in a way that we understood. We felt that his estimate was reasonable and he continually went out of his way to accommodate us. It was near impossible to find a contractor in this crazy building time but we feel so lucky to have trusted all the positive reviews about Down Home Renovations on Houzz (4.9 stars with 62 reviews). He was experienced in showing a 100 year old home some love and working with its quirks. We aren’t done with our home but we 100% plan to turn to Randy for any further projects we have. I am almost nervous to share his name because we want him to have room for us in the future but I also remember how down we felt before we connected with him. Tis the season of perpetual hope - so here it is. Randy Ward, Down Home Renovations.

  I cannot say enough about Randy Ward and his company Down Home Renovations. Their work is superlative and they are top-notch professionals. Randy is outstanding. Any problems/issues that arose were dealt with effortlessly by Randy or his various crews. The first time we hired them, they added two entire rooms to the upstairs of our home, increasing our living space by over 800 square feet. Our family and neighbors are astonished at the quality; it is outstanding. The second time we hired them they refloored our entire downstairs and completely remodeled our front bathroom from an old porcelain tub to a gorgeous tiled walk-in shower. In addition, they installed a new HVAC unit to heat and cool our new upstairs and existing downstairs. They replaced the entire existing ductwork. We very genuinely cannot say enough good things about Mr. Ward and his company Down Home Renovations. They are phenomenal. 10/10 stars, hands down. VERY highly recommended!
