I have used Dominick for over 40 yrs and have always found them to be responsive. However the company was re e try sold to a larger company and since then there have been repeated issues with billing. I HAVE A I have a budget monthly plan and pay ahead but somehow they state IT WAS NOT RECIEVED. WILL RELUCTANTLY start looking for another company when contractexpires

I have used Dominick for a long time. I have had 4 heating companies since buying this house 30 years ago. They have been the best so far. Very responsive, and most of the time their techs are top notch. I think maybe once I had a problem it took a few tries to solve, but they stick with it and get it done. I recommend them without reservation.

Company called to tell me I was at the end of my contract and that they'd like me to sign on for another year. Gave me an exorbitant price - way more than my "introductory" level (which was actually high to begin with). I declined, found another oil company, and called to let Dominick know I would not be renewing. The customer service rep SCREAMED at me for some time and completely freaked me out, the anger was so sudden and unexpected. I hung up and proceeded to communicate with them only by email from then on. I assumed they would not renew my contract and that our relationship was done. Two weeks' later, I am told that they delivered another round of oil and that I owed them over $2000! I asked how it was possible that they would deliver oil after we had so obviously and rancorously parted ways and was told they "couldn't stop the delivery!" This, in a time of telecommunications - call the truck driver and cancel! You had two weeks to do that! This "final" delivery is one I refused to pay for. I couldn't tell if it was sheer malice on Dominick's part, if the sales person who yelled at me was embarrassed to admit he'd been so awful, or what. I did send them a check for $1600 or so, which was what had rightfully, if expensively, been delivered. And then they sued me. For $814. Took me to small claims court, in a process that dragged on for more than a year, due to Covid. Just a warning, if you're thinking you want to use this company. Never once did they communicate that this fee had been hidden in my original (and illegible) contract - which, if I'd known was the case, would have been helpful. Helpful is the antithesis of this company. Caveat emptor.
