  I wish I could give negative Stars for this company. I would not suggest hiring this company. We recently purchased a home in August 2016. We had DE HILL come out to do an inspection of the AC and Heating unit. They advised my husband and I that the Freon is leaking and that its a pinhole leak that they COULD NOT find. They proceeded to add 2 pounds of Freon and told us that the unit was good to go! Just recently we noticed that the heat was not heating well so I called an unnamed source to come out to check it out. He said the Freon is still leaking and that he has located the leak. We told him that DE HILL came out to do the AC and Heating inspection before we bought the home and what work was done. He was in shock that they did not repair the leak and that they added Freon to a leaking system. Come to find out, that is illegal and is posted on the EPA website as section 608 of the Clean Air Act. My husband and I wanted to give DE HILL another chance to redeem themselves. My husband called DE HILL and the receptionist, whom is not very nice, placed him on hold when he asked to speak to a manager. She got on the phone again and said she was the manager. When my husband was talking to her he said " when you placed me on hold" She denied it was her and said it was someone else. He asked her if there is anything she can do for us. He explained the situation in detail and also added the info about the EPA. The woman was very rude and said they DO NOT do refunds. They said they would come out but we would be charged. She kept saying that the information about the EPA is not true. I wanted to for warn potential customers of this company. I will also be contacting the EPA in this matter as well, then maybe they will understand the laws and regulations.

  Had an emergency situation around 7am one morning. D.E. Hill & Son had Technicians at my home by 8am, and by 10am the job and cleanup was complete. The cleanup I'm describing wasn't even there responsibility.

  called them out night before was able to repair myself that night when showed up next day they hooked up guages said everything looked good and left was here 5 minutes and charged me for full hour .i need to work for them if they charge 75.00 for 5 minutes ..i own my own shop and i i have jobs that call for less than a hour thats what i charge ..called bussiness and said they charge that even if they are only there for 5 minutes ..will never use them again ..if you do better know if it takes 1hr and 5 minutes to fix they will charge you 2 hrs ..crooks----crooks ---crooks --
