We recently moved to Crossville and had Crossville Heating & Cooling come out to clean our air ducts and dryer vent. Their prices were competitive and they were able to service us promptly. Our technician, Jacob, could not have been more helpful! He was polite, professional, and very personable! He did a very thorough job. For the first time since we moved in, we did not wake up sneezing - and, our 2004 dryer is now working like it was brand new. I would highly recommend Jacob and Crossville H&C!

Dylan arrived on time for his appointment and was efficient and found our problem immediately. He was very helpful even providing information on a local business that we were needing to hire. He went out of his way to light the pilot light in our fireplace so we could begin using it. He was very courteous, One of the best we've had since we've moved here.

      Response from the owner

Thank you Carol! We really appreciate you choosing Crossville Heating & Cooling, Inc for your heater service. We're glad to hear that Dylan was efficient and went above and beyond for you. Please let us know if you need anything else.

We just purchased a home and we were surprised to receive a complimentary inspection and cleaning in the mail. As we noticed we had a problem with our blower after we moved in, we figured this would be a good start to see what we could do. Yes, our unit is give or take 15 years old, but purchasing a new unit a couple months after the purchase of the home just wasn't feasible at this time. With that being said, after all was said and done, the kind service man informed us we'd need a new blower and that they could be as high as $500 or more. This didn't seem right to me, as really pushing for a new unit seemed to take over the conversation. After the technician left I left it alone for a few days. I am not a hvac technician by any means, but I am pretty mechanically inclined. As the blower didn't seem to have a problem running, I figured odds were very slim that the problem was the blower itself. After removing two screws and removing an inspection plate from the furnace, I quickly realized that a relay had gone bad and lost a terminal. A relay that conveniently had a part number listed on its tag. $10 for the part and a new terminal and the problem was solved. Now, I am not mad I had to do it myself. I really honestly wanted to give this company a chance to recoup some money from a free inspection. It seems to me that maybe pushing for new units might be the goal to these free inspections they're offering. Which is all good, it's their business. I am just here letting people know it isn't always the case that a new unit is best at that particular time. I am giving three stars based on the fact that our technician was very nice, and the fact that they do offer this free service, but also as a failure to really supply us with a proper cause and solution, or even setting us up with another technician that is capable of doing that scope of work if ours was not.

We are so very sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with our company. We will be doing some training with the technician who was at your home to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. Our main purpose in gifting a free tune up is to show you what amazing service our company can provide so we can build lifelong customers with the members in our community. We sincerely hope you give us one more chance to make this right for you with a different technician. We'll have a manager reach out to you.
