  We have used Comfort Zone twice now to repair a newer AC system installed by another company. They have always been courteous, prompt, and fair with their pricing. We highly recommend their services.

  Unprofessional, under qualified new Techs trying to wing it on their own and are set up to fail, very poor communication, they’ve consistently run two months or more late on providing the semi annual maintenance, Appt was between 2/3pm, showed up at 4pm, and if that’s not enough they blew up my working AC during a routine maintenance because they couldn’t figure out why my south unit wasn’t coming on after they’d turned the thermostat way down. They turned thermostat down on the north unit!! They’d torn it apart, took wires off, killed my compressor. At 8:15PM (!!!!) more than 4 hrs after arriving my husband told them to pack it up and get off our property. This routine maintenance cost me thousands of dollars. The owner wouldn’t even return calls and never came to our property to see what had happened. They do not even deserve the one star I had to give them.

  Dawn, I'm sorry about your experience that you had. The two techs that went to your had never been to your home before. One of them was training and did not let the senior tech that you had two system which was a communication break down. I'm sure neither one of them was unprofessional to you. As to getting you scheduled our records show us reaching out to you for your maintenance, but it seem to timing of your schedule did not align. When we are running late we do try and let our customers know. To be honest this can be a challenge, but we have made staffing changes in our office to improve this communication. As fare as us blowing up you compressor. What we had found is that it was locked up and would not start. I'm not sure if this was the 20 year old system or the 25 year system. I'll never know if you had call us for the maintenance because one of your systems went down or not. Never the less A/C systems don't last for every and both of yours are well past the normal life of 10 to 12 years here where we live. Once again I'm sorry for your experience.

  We have been using Comfort Zone since we bought our home in 2005. They installed the original air conditioner in the house we bought and have been performing semi-annual maintenance on the same unit until this year when we finally had a new one installed. They also fixed some duct issues at the same time. Jim and all the techs who have ever come out are always very friendly, professional and helpful. The office staff is also great and follow-up to be sure everything is working as it should. I highly recommend Comfort Zone!
