My home warranty sent them out to fix my heat they have now changed two different parts and three days after installing the last part my heat is still not working. I called my warranty company again and they called confront to come fix my heat which was on a Saturday. They called and said they could not come out till Monday . Now I have no heat in my home and there is snow on the ground . And I have my granddaughter with me in a house no heat . I have called my warranty company to complain about there service also.

Aged equipment can have multiple failures, which can take more than one visit to resolve each rising issue. Our field technicians are operational Monday through Friday, so we are sorry we were unable to get to you until Monday. My home warranty assign them to fix my hvac. The first technician that came out wasn't properly prepared. He attempted to climb in my attic without the correct size ladder. He fell on my brand new dryer and dented. He left without apologizing. The manager had to finish the job and now waiting on my dryer to be repaired.

We're incredibly sorry about your initial experience with our company and are thankful that the manager was able to get everything resolved for you.  We try really hard to get it right every time but sometimes, unfortunately we come up a bit short.  When we do we will make it right.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do so.  As soon as the top for your dryer comes in, we'll get that replaced for you too.

Timeliness great...identified problem great...circulating fan motor needed replacement... sent fan housing assembly to shop to install new motor...however while reassembling unit shop technician did not clean blades..
Technician picked up unit from shop which still had accumulated dust on the blades and brought to.my house for reinstall with extremely dirty fan blades

When I suggested to clean..
Technicians stated that task would be maintenance and with a $262 additional charge.

I INFORMED that the dust should have been re
moved at shop during install of the motor when fan was being reassembled...and that the cleaning should have been included with the American Home Shield insurance policy. I called the Comfort First office to report my complaint..and the office then appropriately informed the technician to clean the unit with no additional charge.  It's hard to get contractors these days that actually care about their customers and take pride I'm their work.  I asked the technician if he would have installed a dirty fan in his house or for his mom...he just stated that he did not repair the part and  again stated that the cleaning was a maintenance issue ...true...but he picked the unit up and should have insisted that the unit be cleaned prior to installation at one of his customers.  I am not impressed and would not recommend their service going forward.

When home warranty customers are assigned to our company, we strive to be very clear about what their home warranty contracts cover and what they do not cover. As our representatives informed you, your home warranty company does not cover cleaning/maintenance per your contract you hold with them. Cleanings and maintenance services can be done, however additional costs would need to be collected to perform the service. You have acknowledged the dirty fan is a maintenance issue. It is a service that requires additional labor, which would need to be paid for out of pocket by the customer. Brad was great! My AC unit is back up and running. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong and was fast with the repair. Comfort First informed me when he was at the property ahead of mine and I was notified by phone and email when the tech was on his way. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will be using them for all my maintenance in the future.

Shamari Baker was the best service provider of any type we've had in a long, long while. He not only fixed our AC issue, but he took the time to explain the issue, the solution, and future considerations in patient detail. Hope y'all appreciate him, Comfort First!

We have a home warranty company that routed CF to us last year over some AC issues we were having. The tech at that time was great and figured the issue out and corrected it. We encountered issues again this spring/summer and used CF again to check the unit out. We were diagnosed as having a stuck reversing valve which was fixed; however, the house never really cooled so they came out numerous times to find out what was going on. After 2-3 trips they sent a senior tech who diagnosed the problem as a TXV Valve issue. A few days later, a different tech came out and stated there was not a TXV valve in the attic (which there actually is) and said it was a stuck piston. He cleaned some filters and unstuck the piston I assume. Five weeks later, we have no AC again. The people at Comfort First are nice and their techs are professional and courteous. The main problem is they don’t usually seem to figure out the source of the problems. The best tech they had (James) no longer works there and nobody else we’ve encountered has come close to his knowledge and abilities. If you’re in a bind, CF may get you through but if you’re looking for a long term fix, you maybe better off using another company.
