When one of the big brand-name HVAC companies in the area quoted us $13,500 for a boiler replacement, I called Chuck. He showed up right away and got me a VERY competitive estimate within an hour. Two days later, Chuck and his team showed up and did a complete install, including new boiler, new zone pumps, all new shutoffs, adding a garage zone, moving the plumbing to a wall-mounted control panel, and even adding a couple of hose hookups. They worked steadily until the job was done (like, even reconnecting the washer and dryer that I disconnected) and did a very reasonable cleanup at the end of the job. After a few days we noticed a very slow leak on the new boiler. I called on a Monday morning and Chuck showed up the same day to thoroughly rectify the problem (turns out one of the pipe fittings attached by the boiler manufacturer was leaking). I'm so glad we chose Chuck Laverty & Son because they did a great job, and did so in a very timely fashion. They also--no joke--saved us $4500. (The other company was greater than 50% more expensive for the same exact boiler and similar installation.)

Called and scheduled for a price quote for a job. Then on the day he's suppose to show I called and confirmed what time he was suppose to show. I told them I had to leave by 330 ( they were suppose to come in the morning). The lady who answered said he would call before he came needless to say I never got a call. Unreliable if he can't even show/ call to reschedule before the appointment ( or even after). Things happen, but a phone call would have been nice! Where has the customer service and common curtesy gone. He may do good work if he shows. I will not hire him.

During this time chuck had just went into the hospital and was in the hospital for six months and we were a little disorganized for a couple weeks and I apologize for this and would like to offer you a 30% discount on your next job you hire us for. just mention this review
