TLDR: Same day availability, great technician, quick repair, and reasonable final bill, but could've done without the surprise $20 service fee. They were able to come out the day I called, when I called first thing in the morning on a busy hot day. Showed up just after lunchtime, just as estimated when I called. Technician found the problem straight away and had it fixed in about 20 minutes or less. He gave it a pretty thorough inspection once the obvious problem was solved to make sure there weren't any other issues, and took time to give tips on keeping it running optimally. Now they rounded up pretty significantly on the service time. Fair enough on a quick job like this. Maybe they have a 1hr minimum, but just thought I'd point it out. I was told on the phone that I would just be charged for the time on the job, no inspection fee or minimum mentioned, and there ended up being a $20 "service fee" on the invoice. Not sure what that was for, and I wasn't shown an itemized invoice before paying. The part mark-up for the capacitor that went into my unit was over 100% of the price I found for the same part (same brand) online. Not sure how that compares, but it was on the truck, so a convenience mark-up is expected. Finally, my invoice says I "could have saved $19.35," and I have no idea what I could've done to get those savings, as it wasn't explained anywhere.

Got ripped off by this company! They came out to fix what I thought was a clogged drain line. They didn’t even try to figure out what the real issue was. Water was leaking through my ceiling. They didn’t fix the problem. Starting dripping through my ceiling a day after they left. Called them to come fix it and they wanted to charge me again after they had already charged me $330. I had to have another HVAC guy fix it. The new A/C guy told us what the real problem with our A/C was and fixed it for $75.

I am so sorry you feel this way. There is a premium to come out on double time after 10pm and on weekends however we did say we were happy to come out at no charge first thing Monday. We understand your frustration that it had issues again and apologize for that. We are glad you found someone to get it fixed for you.
