Better experience last time. $60 for a $15 capacitor. I get your not a retail store and I get I'll have to pay a little more. The retail burned down, doesn't mean you have to rob me.

I called this company because I had used them before to replace our heat pump in 2009. We were having problems with the thermostat downstairs. The screen was blank. The person who answered was very nice and quoted me a $98.00 service charge to come out. I thought this was high, but it was cold so I agreed. I originally was going to replace it myself but was worried about being electrocuted so I opted to have a professional do it. I had even purchased a thermostat at Lowe's. A programmable thermostat. The cost was $40.00. The technician came out, checked the line and went back to his truck to get a thermostat. On his way out I asked the technician how much the thermost was going to be. He said he didn't know but would check. He came back in while I was washing dishes and installed the new thermostat, never giving me a price. It is important to note that he was only in my home for a total of 30 minutes (I had already resolved myself to the fact that I would be paying the service fee). He then presented me with an invoice for a whopping $226.00! How is it that this company charges $120.00 for a thermostat? A regular, non-programmable thermostat and I am able to buy a programmable thermostat for $40.00?! The service charge alone was highway robbery! But to charge me $120.00 for a thermostat? When I questioned the amount, the technician simply said "Well what did you expect to pay?" To which I responded "not $226.00!" When my husband called to inquire about this, the woman who was originally sooo nice to me was extremely rude to my husband and refused to make an effort to rectify the situation. I will NEVER use this company again and I would urge others not to use them either.

Our first unit they installed died after 16 years of service. We called them again 6 months ago and they installed an energy efficient Heating / Air Conditioning system and new thermostat. We were pleased with the sale, service, installation, and follow-up. They did a fantastic job and as a retired teacher on a fixed income, I was very pleased.
