  I ordered a heat/ac unit 2 weeks ago. Paid in full with my credit card. Patiently waited. Then yesterday, 13 days after my order was placed, I get a call from them. I am thinking it is to tell me when the unit is going to arrive. No, it is to tell me they don't have the unit I ordered and they don't know when it will be in stock again. Then they said I could buy a more expensive brand if I wanted. I told them I would have to check the sizing specs since the original unit was purchased based on the case dimensions. I then decided to Google the model unit I had purchased to see if another supplier had that unit. Low and behold EBay comes up and it shows Budget has three of my unit available to purchase on EBay. So I was lied to that they didn't have my unit. They were selling it on EBay for a higher price than what I purchased it for from their website. The reason I gave two stars is because today (day 14) I called in to cancel the order and they did send an email that the order was cancelled. It showed my full purchase price was being refunded. They did that promptly. This two week delay has now set my job back. Found a higher quality unit that met my case size dimensions from another supplier.

  I purchased an evaporator coil and it was very poorly packed, and the metal shield which covers the top of the coil was not installed, resulting in a lot of damage to the fins on the top of the coil. It was also missing the plastic brackets which hold the metal shield on the coil. I had to salvage the brackets from my old coil to use on the new coil. And I had to pay $400 for shipping!

  Hello Mr Brah, Thank you for reaching out regarding the uncased coil that was shipped to you. We received your picture and most of what you called “damage” to the fins is a normal part of the manufacturing process. However, if you would like please reach out to our office and we will send you a fin comb kit free of charge to straighten out the fins on the coil. In regards to the brackets you mentioned, they do not come with the purchase of an uncased coil. Those brackets are a part of the air handler and are not included by the manufacturer when you purchase an uncased coil.   "Wonderful, got a call about my order the next day to verify everything. Was instructed on how to check the unit before accepting it, and when to call about registering the unit. Delivery was excellent. Loved the process all the way around. Excellent company!"
