Amazing service, I call Wednesday morning and they sent service man over and fix , explain issue!!! Same Day!! Highly recommend Boutwell's to anyone that needs new A/C.

We have a mold smell coming from our AC vents, we paid boutwell $85 to come see what the issue was, the guy who came over thought the smell was coming from the ground and sprayed expanding foam. That didn't help the smell at all, we called them again and he came back over, he didn't check much but he asked us if we did any weird cooking.... I'm not sure what thats supposed to mean but no we don't. He sprayed some cleaner on a coil and said he would ask someone at the office and have them call us back. Well no one ever called us back that day and the smell never went away. So I called Boutwell again today to see if we could get another technician to come over and check for mold in the vents because what I saw online that could cause the smell was never checked by the original technician, she told me that I would have to change something out on my own but for them to come back out they would have to charge me another $85, I tried to explain to the women that when I paid $85 the first time the guy never fixed anything, that we have the same smell we had when he first came over, she told me that the guy who came over, who asked if I did weird cooking and didn't check anything, said there was nothing more they could do and to come out again I would need to pay $85, I asked her so there's no way you can send a different technician without me paying for service I already paid for that wasn't done properly, she confirmed that would be the case. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me she was the manager. So clearly this place is not managed well at all and they don't know how to trouble shoot problems associated with the ACs they install. ***edit*** So another manager heard of my case and came back out to take another look free of charge and he confirmed that the coil is whats causing the smell, and they would have to clean it or replace it, since it was still under warranty he suggested to replace it. So they came by, got it replaced very quickly, and I haven't had the smell since. So they did come by and finally identified the problem and provided a solution which is what I was looking for the first time, so I'm moving this from 1 star to 3 stars because the women on the phone was still terrible to work with. Another women that works there named Bonnie is great though

I would like to say that I had one of the best service calls today that I have had in a long while. Thanks to Ryan who arrived at the beginning of my appointment window (YAY!). Ryan listened to my explanation of what had been going on with my AC for about a week. Ryan advised me of what he thought my problem might be and what he would look at. He also recommended the company's service plan and explained how it would be beneficial for me. I found Ryan to be sincere, professional and knowledgeable.
