The other reviews indicate that this company does good work. I would not know. Our A/C stopped blowing cold air, and I called another company first and setup an appointment for exactly two weeks later. I then called Boswell's for a comparison quote. It was higher, so I thanked them and hung up. I then received a call back and with a reduced quote, on the grounds that they had installed the A/C in our house (done by the previous owner). I was also told that they could be out on the next week. Between the earlier visit time and the knowledge of our system, I figured it was worth it to go with Boswell's even though the quote was a few bucks more even after the reduction. I cancelled the original appointment with the other company. This was all on a Wednesday. The following week passed and they never came our or called. I let them know I would be free all day on the following Monday. The next week (one week late), on Tuesday, I called them and was told they may be able to stop by after another job of theirs. I was working that evening and asked for any morning window that week and was told OK. Shame one me, this may have been my one chance and I should have called into work. The next day (Wednesday) I reached out again and was told that Thursday would be the day. At noon on Thursday, I called and was told that his truck had broke down and he was searching for a mechanic shop that could get to it same day. He complained about how hard it was to get quick service (ha!). This Thursday was the day that original appointment was scheduled for. I was foolish for cancelling it. On the following Monday (now two full weeks late) I reached out and asked about the status of the truck. Was told "I'll just have to watch the weather and can I call you in like an hour before we can go and you meet us there" (no word on the actual status of the truck). I said that would be fine and provided my work number in case my cell was unavailable. This third week has passed. There has not been much rain. I reached out today (Friday, the 17th full business days after our initial call) and was told that the technician is out of town. In summary: Boswell's either had three weeks of other work already lined up, or they put two weeks worth of new work in front of me and my family. In either case, the claim that they could get to us on the following week was an utter falsehood. Checking my phone, the only time they called me was that first callback to offer a lower price and a false promise of a quick visit. Every contact since then has been me calling them or me texting them and then getting a response text. The one appointment that was made did not occur due to vehicle issues and I had to call him to find out that he would not be coming by that day.

They were able to come the same day that my unit quit working and had the part on hand to repair it. They even cleaned my outside unit and informed me why my heater was drawing more energy than normal. They were very professional and thorough gentlemen!
