My mom has used Bergs over 15 years for semi annual service.  She wanted a new HVAC install. On Oct 12, the original  appointment was scheduled for Oct 19, but Bergs website did not transmit the information to the company. so a second appointment was scheduled for Oct 25. After several inquires a quote was received on Nov 5.  The manager was supposed to call as a follow up to some concerns, but only an email was received apologizing for the delay. This information is true, accurate and correct. Reference: q3186.

Huge Rave for bergs! They put in my new HVAC unit a couple weeks ago and they did a great job! Oscar and his partner( forget his name) were amazing and so friendly, made the whole experience great and not uncomfortable at with having strangers  in my home. They did an awesome job with the installation and made sure we were happy with the job, and understood how to work the new system. Great locally owned business, 10 out 10 and would definitely recommend.

OUTSTANDING!!! These folks provided what I needed, when I needed it, at a fair price. Simple and professional, as business should be. They Forgot I made appointment the 1st time wrote the wrong address down the 2nd time. The tech didn't check the unit out to see what exactly was wrong with the  ac unit cause it did turn on . The tech noticed the bad wiring did nothing about it. The tech said he noticed the wiring, he said it was OK because the unit was working.  It was done Friday an stopped working on Saturday .  Then came back online Sunday late in the day an stopped Monday  evening.  Call Tuesday morning @7:44am  no return call so I called not only once after 2hrs they had no game plan yet to fix it called again  1hr later still no plan from them to fix it. Received a email  to charge me more money.  Also the lady who answered the phone also said if I like my options to go somewhere else.  This is how they treat veterans and the disabled.  Will not tell anybody to use them . Very poor customer service. ZERO STARES . PRETTY SHADY COMPANY.

This is an invalid complaint. We were scheduled to provide a cooler service and when we showed up, we were told that the tenant did all the servicing himself and only wanted the pads changed with the pads he provided. We obliged and adjusted our rate. When we received the call that the unit wasn't working, we explained that we did not provide service as requested. Options were offered as to how this could be resolved and that didn't seem satisfactory. Customer wanted us to warranty work that we never provided. At that point, the tenant cursed and yelled at our receptionist. We always stand behind our work. Had we been allowed to perform the service that was originally requested, we would have certainly returned to fix our error. That was not the case in this situation and it is unfortunate we got a bad review for work performed by a tenant.

This is the worst place to ask for assistance for your AC needs, they were cheap for a reason. I understand that it takes time to do maintenance and get the parts you need. My experience with the maintenance man was fine. It was the girls who answer the phone and schedule the appointments that I have a problem with. They are quite rude and disrespectful. I asked one girl, very nicely, how long it would take after about two weeks of not hearing anything from them after they came and did an inspection of our A/C unit, and she laughed and said it would take as long as it took. I can understand that the heat can get to people, but that may not be how you want to treat your customers.

Ms. McNabb, I cannot find information for you in our system. Nothing listed with your first or last name. Without an address or phone number, I cannot locate you in our system. I am currently researching phone records for the last 2 months to try and find the call you refer to that you were told that information.
We've never been accused of being cheap before. I'd really like to try and get to the bottom of your complaint. We use these situations as training to prevent these types of things from happening. This company installed a decent heat pump for us with minimal headache, unlike all the others that made a concerted effort to sell us something at twice the cost of what we wanted to spend and twice as big as we needed. And their estimate was free. They made good on their warranty service the first year and their technicians have always been polite and punctual.

Unfortunately, I don't find their service people very well-informed and the installation was a wee bit sloppy. Thus only three stars. However, they appear honest, which is something difficult to find in the trades these days. However, I do recommend them for value and dependability.

We were selling our house and the inspector found things that needed fixed. I called them and they sent out the guy and he did the a/c and the heater. All functioned great. Then he checked on somethings that the inspector also found. Fixed those the day. Great job

I wouldn't use this company because they offer no military discount in a military town. If it weren't for us you wouldn't even have a business because this town wouldn't be here. The excuse I got was that people who give a military discount jack their prices up ahead of giving you the discount. That's the most lame excuse I have ever heard. The prices are not enflated to compensate for military discounts. Company's who give discounts support the military which yours obviously does not. Quality lower priced service does exist elsewhere.

For more than 44 years of business serving this community, we have always been supportive of the military. I was very pleased with the work that the two technicians did their names are Torin and Charles, professional and very thorough and went the extra mile, and explained how everything now works, the only thing I was disappointed in was the scheduling of my appointment, I feel the person making my appointment should clarify that the technicians will be at your house in a certain time line, my appointment was at 8:00 a.m. but they didn't arrive until after 10:00 a.m. if I was told that the technicians would be at my house between 8-12, then I'd be more understanding and not calling to see where they are. But all in all, I'd recommend Berg's, and again, thank u for good work.
