  WARNING- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY—— this has been absolutely the worst experience ever . I paid $1000 out of pocket on modifications to Bennett and Sons via American home shield warranty which was to be $100. Patty , the office manager , assured me I would have a one year labor and Parts - which was and is in no way honored at all. She is extremely rude and no commitments have been kept by this company . Harry Bennett is never available and cannot be reached per Patty. I have experienced multiple problems from the onset of this install 8 months ago . Again, this company will not honor their warranty at all which was to be one year parts and labor . Currently , they never tested the heat pump upon install and the heat does not work . They will not return to access the problem and two other professional, licensed contractors are quoting $1409 for the repair . Other contractors said the install was very poor work . I currently have no heat and Ms Patty does not care although her company installed this new unit . When the unit was installed a very - highly toxic spray glue was sprayed into the vents which made me and my family extremely ill . I had to vacate home for one month . I spent thousands on air purification to correct the poison which they used . Additionally they installed a digital thermostat improperly -set it wrong-0 which threw out the proper air moisture on home which took three other professional, licensed contractors to figure out . Again this created health problems as well as ruined multiple salt lamps in my beautiful home . Air Cool came through with flying colors , reinstalled another thermostat properly , set it properly and problems were rectified . At no point was Patty or Americam Home Shield willing to take any responsibility . This nightmare has cost me thousands out of pocket and is still not resolved . I have contacted attorneys for legal support as of today upon the advice and recommendation of Beaches air , Nick andOrange County code inspector , Ray Pierce . Nick informed me that he was a former employee of this company and that this is what they do to people. They upset people so much that people just end up going to others to help them. He also commented on how unhappy the staff is there .

  We we're really happy with our service with Bennett and Sons. Our AC stopped cooling Monday afternoon. We called our home warranty company who hooked us up with Bennett and a technician came out the next morning. Steven was great to work with! He arrived on time and got the system cooling right away. He noted that our compressor was failing and submitted all of the paper work to our warranty company without us needing to ask. We were told the part would take 3 to 5 days to arrive but the part came in early and Steven came out again and installed it immediately and everything is working great now. It was such a pain free experience and the staff with Bennett was super nice and helpful.

  I feel I have to share this for future customers. After 3 months, and 7 visits, yes, you heard me correct 3 months and 7 visits. This company have to this day still not fixed our AC issue. They sent our three separate technicians every call and each technician had no idea what the previous had worked on. They mis diagnosed the problem creating a "Frankenstein unit" We fill the technicians were not experienced enough to handle a simple AC issue. As far as customer service, even worse. Patty and Shelly were extremely rude and unprofessional and inconsiderate that we have 3 kids and live in FL with temperatures up to 90 degrees. With such poor work, over the past 3 months, we had to resolve the issue independently with another company.
