  One of the service techs who had a different color back door and a wounded warrior sticker on back was running people off the road and driving like a mental case on 12/20 by the airport. If that's how they represent the business I wouldn't use them.

  I cannot emphasize enough how truly impressed and pleased I am with these guys. I'm currently remodeling my basement and had the idea to move my furnace & ducting to open up more space. From here I will tell the short and long versions of the story: SHORT VERSION - I wanted to see about moving my furnace, they came out so we could walk through the project/idea, and determined it was a feasible & made sense to do. We set a date range for the project to be completed and they were able to complete the job ahead of schedule (additionally I was only without heat intermittently for part of one day). LONG VERSION - In the middle of winter time I came up with the idea to move my furnace and virtually every piece of ducting with it. One of their guys was at a relative's house doing a bit of service work on their boiler system, at that time we brought up my furnace move idea and asked if he maybe had time to come take a look, he did and was more than happy to swing by my house before heading back to the shop. I'm very familiar with most aspects related to residential construction, but admittedly, I can't tell you the first thing about HVAC. During the initial walkthrough, they were very open to questions/thoughts about the project and gave honest, yet respectful, feedback on what made sense to do and what did not. They also answered my questions on why something would/would not work, which to me goes a long way into gaining a trustful working relationship. At this point I decided to move forward with the project and we were on to scheduling. Now at this point it has to be taken into consideration that this is an HVAC company that is working during the middle of winter time (truthfully I fully expected them to tell me I was crazy and that they'd do the job in April), so the fact that they were able to get me on the schedule in 2-3 weeks was pretty impressive, especially since I'm sure they are backlogged with heating emergencies to tend to. Truth be told we did have to play some phone tag to get everything aligned and scheduled (makes sense because it's WINTER and I want to move my furnace), but all in all we got there with no issues...just had to be a bit flexible which I believe is reasonable. About a week and a half before the start date, they asked if they could send a guy out to run through the estimate and make a materials list which I was more than happy to do because that also just makes sense. We went through every aspect of the job and actually came up with a few ideas that would work better than originally planned. The overall thing that sold me on this company was that the job was estimated to take roughly 2 - 2 1/2 days to complete (I agreed to that time frame and planned out what to do for temporary heating)....but they finished in one day. Thinking back on it from the beginning, this was only possible due to the planning that was involved from the prior two visits. They arrived on the job, on-time, with everything they needed and the crew to do it...and they executed the job far above my expectations. Throughout this entire process they were professional, personable, friendly, and trust worthy. Did it take a bit of flexibility on my end as the customer, yes.....was that worth it, yes.....will Bales Mechanical be at the top of my list for HVAC contracting going forward, absolutely.

  I can't say enough about how thrilled I am with everyone from Bales and the services they provide! They promptly take care of the servicing of my boiler heat every year and make sure everything is running properly. They installed central air in my Tri-level house (no prior ducts) this year and did an amazing job!!! Reasonable prices and true professionals make this company my forever go-to guys!!!!
