  All the bad reviews echo my experience exactly. I like how Bernie gave himself a 5 star review. That’s typical Bernie behavior. The guy is a crook. He took money from me to instal a heating system in my shop. 6 months passed and he came one time and dropped off scaffolding. Then the furnace in my house went out. I called him to diagnose. He showed up after business hours even though I told him not to and I wouldn’t pay overtime. He was there less than 30 minutes and tried to charge me almost $900. No parts used just a quick diagnostic. I refused to pay the bill. Bernie had taken my debit card info down on a previous invoice for the shop work that he never did. He ended up using that info to charge my account. I filled a claim against him at the bank. At this point Bernie finally decided to contact me. In the end he kept $1000 dollars and returned the rest. So for $1000 I got a diagnostic done and nothing else. This guy is a crook through and through.

  Bernie came to my house and diagnose why my fireplace was filling with soot. He told me that there could be a few things that are wrong, but his main concerns were the rise and run on the exhaust, and that the fireplace was natural gas and not propane as it should be. After making a call, he told me they don't make a conversion kit and that I would potentially need a new fireplace. To make a long story short, they do make a conversion kit, and the information and diagnosis that I paid for from Allard was incorrect. I don't think he gave me the wrong information intentionally, but I still had to pay the price for it.

  SOOT WAS STAINING THE STUCCO ON JOES NEW HOUSE. I explained a common problem with corner installs like his while my helper set up tarps and vacuum. Great care was taken to contain the oily soot in the gas fire box. When the soot was cleared I discovered the installing contractor installed a Natural gas fireplace on LP gas. The supplier counter person told me the fireplace was not convertible to Liquid Petroleum gas. After a phone call to his building contractor, the installing contractor finished the conversion.   Allard just completed a complete replacement of my heat pump and furnace. I am so pleased with the project, a significant improvement in 100+ year old historic house. Mr. Allard and crew were pleasant, professional and considerate. I was kept informed all along the way. Thanks for a great job!
