Airtron is terrible and I will never use them again. 1) They designed and installed the HVAC system in my new house. It was poorly designed - there is still a 6 degree temperature difference between two bedrooms on the second floor, and this is AFTER they came out to "balance" it. 2) They billed me for a built-in dehumidifier that was never installed but was supposed to be there, and 3) after living in the new house for <2 years, the 2nd floor AC stopped working. Upon coming out, the technician said it was working fine, and that we shouldn't use the "Auto" function on the thermostat as sometimes that is the cause - it's a little funky. Really? On top of that, they charged me $119 for the service call - to tell me the manufacturer's feature of Auto sometimes doesn't work. Save yourself frustration and don't use them.

The Technician (so called) was not aware that they had originally installed the Furnace just a few years (~4-5) ago!! Did not have proper gadgets and could not reach the leaking flue pipe or to the humidifier. He Didn't know how to fix the pipe and I am still waiting for a call back with a quote (It's been 4 days and the leaking condensate is ruining my floor and walls. Paid $89 for a diagnosis which I knew about and told them over the phone. It's a simple fix by correcting the originally improperly installed pipe by them! I know the solution but I am not licensed to do it! Also, he turned on the humidifier water by banging on the valve while standing below it instead of using a step stool, and the humidifier is continually draining now!

The repair man was nice and on time. Discovered a bad circuit board. Advised he could wire around it which I agreed to. Asked how much to fix system back to what it was he stated over 2000$. I promptly found a replacement board for $179.00. also tried to sell me a 40$ a month service plan. So he did get furnace going. I felt like he was trying to shake me down so probably won't use airtron again.

Thank you Kevin for relaying your experience. I would certainly value your call at a time convenient for you so that I may discuss further and see if we can resolve to your satisfaction? Sincerely Matt Hartsough. (513) 645-4395
