  Terrible experience that cost me thousands. Mis-diagnosis by the tech sent out here through my home warranty. Cost me 2000 when it actually was a repairable issue. The technician came out and diagnosed my unit as bad, however upon replacement is was found that the ground wire was touching another wire causing it to short. After months of arguing with my home warranty they finally reimbursed a portion of what I was required to pay to replace. More worried about replacing the entire unit then repairing.

  Sorry for your experience. Unfortunately your system was a R22 type refrigerant Condenser that had intermittent problems with overheating due to a plugged condenser coil with cotton wood from lack of maintenance. The compressor was locked/grounded out on thermal overload . We spoke with the warranty company about replacing the unit, or repairing the Air Conditioning Condenser, we could not have done the work unless we had permission to proceed with repair. We never did any work on your system and only collected the service call fee of 75$ .The warranty company doesn’t cover electrical shorts and that is what we was told by the warranty company . We are not the warranty company that you have a service plan with. The technician was telling you the best option for replacement due to the cost of R22 refrigerant and the fact that R22 refrigerant has been phased out by the EPA since the refrigerant has been recognize by the EPA that it was harmful to the Ozone. This was presented to you , only because you asked for a estimate on replacement. We spoke with the warranty company about replacing the unit to save you money , but the warranty company denied your claim for replacement. Neither you are the warranty company reached out to us. And this date of service was on 7/1/2021. That was 7 months ago and no one has ever contacted our office by phone or email. Sorry for any confusion but the issue is with your warranty company.

  I was recommended by a friend , Air Control came out the same day I called for service. They were out to diagnose the problem with my furnace with in minutes. Jarvis is very knowledgeable. No run around or bad sales pitches. I appreciate the transparency they gave. This was a job for a professional and I'm happy I went with them. I will be using them in the future.

  We worked with Jarvis Baker and he has excellent professionalism and was very efficient in explaining everything to us and keeping us updated about when the parts were sent. If he ever had air conditioning needs (hopefully not), then we would definitely use this company again and ask for Jarvis personally. We are so happy we got this fixed in a timely manner!! The cost was fair, especially compared to other companies near by that wanted ridiculous amounts just to diagnosis the issue!! Thanks again for the service!
