I have American Home Shield and I contacted them because my AC wasn't working.  The Advantage service man cam out fixed the outside fan and came in and inspected the inside unit and said the coil needed serviced.  He put in a second clam to American Home Shield and it was approved last Friday.  Today is Wednesday of the next week (I was out of town) and the Advantage service man just left my house.  We had a few weather delays, but the service man was on time, very respectful and did a great job.  I would recommended them to others.

American Home Shield used this vendor and they actually showed up a day early and had me back up in running in no time at all. Thank you David the service manager for checking with me when they had a cancellation and were able to fix my issue a day earlier than planned. Professional technician, knowledgeable and clean.

American Home shield keeps getting this company to service our AC. The first time they came in they  looked for less than 5 minutes and said they would come back. They didn’t.
I asked to have a different company service our unit and they sent a better company. Unfortunately, I had to pay the deductible because they showed up.
It’s been a few years and we had to call once more. Again, American Home Shield sends the same company and once again, they don’t show up. I called the company  the day before appointment and an hour before too. We were hoping they had changed but they haven’t.

ZERO stars-HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with this company! My A/C went out on June 30 and my insurance put me in touch with this company. The customer service- when they answered was on point, however I had to wait for an appointment on July 3.  I understood it’s a busy  time of year and waited patiently.  I never got a call from Advantage AC so I called them to confirm the appointment, which they did.  On the day of service, no call no timeline for arrival so I called them and they said there was one appointment before mine so again I  waited patiently.
12:30 pm, 2pm I called to follow up- and they said they ran into a little problem and took longer than expected, they should be on their way soon.  3pm, 4pm I call again, they told me they had a part that didn’t work out so they were finishing the install as we spoke and would get to me next. 5pm nothing, I called again for fear that it was a holiday weekend and they would soon be closed and sure enough, I got the answering  service.  They said they would get a message out to a technician.  5:30pm no call from anyone no show, I call back - answering service says they will send out a message again. 6pm nobody has followed up with me, I call back and they say they are sorry all they can do is send a message to the technician.  6:30pm I call again and same answer so I ask to be escalated to a manager, which they do and the manager keeps me on the line while she calls the manager or owner of the company.  She gets back on the line and kindly assures me that the Manager/Owner, and she gives me his name DAVID LOPEZ- will be calling me right back.  By now it is almost 7pm.  Nobody ever calls me, nobody ever did, and nobody ever showed up. Holiday weekend my home is at 92 degrees and I have no idea about a service date anymore.  This was so inconsiderate and appalling.  I finally looked online to learn more about this company and when I read through the reviews I was shocked. I typically read reviews first, but since I had no choice with my insurance, I had not done my due diligence.  Thankfully my insurance company was open on the Fourth of July and they rescheduled my appointment with Frontier AC in Mission Texas.  WOW WOW WOW, they answered immediately, kept me on hold while they confirmed with a technician on their availability for an appointment. They got me a same day appointment at 1pm and upon hanging up sent me a text message with confirmation, and as a bonus the name and photo of the technician that would be servicing my home for added safety.  I looked at their reviews online and 5 stars / 291 reviews.   Every one of them with a reply from the Company thankful to serve the RGV.  What a difference!  I am thankful that there are companies that truly care about servicing their community in the RGV.  If you are reading this review and are waiting on Advantage <BEWARE> you may not be in the right hands even if they do come out to service you- keep  READING  the reviews :( horror stories!!  Maybe not getting service was a blessing from above for me.
