I called and requested a quote for ductwork replacement. The company said they would call me within a few days to schedule an appointment. I never received a call so I called them back and they said no one was home when they stopped by so they turned my request back in to the office.....yet they never setup an appointment to come. I once again requested that they come out to give me a quote and was told that they would have someone call and send someone out. I never received a call. I will not call them for anything in the future nor recommend them to anyone. They have poor communication skills and poor business practices.

Three years ago we could give Adams Air a great 5 star recommendation. They get 1 this round. Here are a few concerns that might help the next person: 1) They got my name wrong, even after I called their office and corrected. Still wrong on the invoice. 2) During the "service call to check the unit" the technician only inspected 1/2 the equipment. We were told the unit needed a coil, but the coil was NEVER physically inspected. 3)They concluded we needed a new unit because coils were no longer made for a 2004 Goodman. However, when Jeff Roper gave us a 2nd opinion, we were told they sold them all day long out of Chattanooga. This is our last time using Adams Air. At $90 an hour, that is too expensive to have to get 2nd opinions.
Response from the owner
We are sorry that you feel poorly in regards to our service at your residence. I have corrected your name in our system. It took several days to get this corrected due to a system error. I have mailed your paid receipt to you with the correct name. I was told that when the service techs were at your home that the unit needed a new coil. I contacted Goodman from who we buy direct and they stated to me that the coil was not available at this time due to issues with the COVID-19 and their warehouse being shut down for a period of time. Typically when you have a HVAC system with a leaking coil that is of age it is recommended that you change the entire unit. As your 2004 unit is an R-22 unit that is not environmentally friendly and obsolete you might save yourself money in the long run by changing the entire system. If a unit was newer and still under warranty it makes sense to change out the part only. Take note that I did attached the quote of a system for you on the invoice that I mailed out to you. In the past we all have made mistakes whether in business or personal lives that hinder us at one time or another. I can assure you that there is no shady past with Adams Air and we have always made sure to put the customer first and foremost. We at Adams Air have made all efforts to the best of our ability to make a customer's experience a top priority. However, we understand that no one is ever pleased when it comes to costly repairs for their home. Within industry standard we find that typically our prices are standard across the board in comparison with other reputable companies in our area. Please feel free to compare our unit change out price to Mr. Roper's price when you are shopping for a new heat and air unit. We would be happy to help you out.
