Ian from Adam Mechanical was in my house for 2 days. Ian is awesome! He diagnosed and fixed every single issue (of which we had many between our newish boiler being installed improperly by a DIFFERENT company and radiators likely from the mid 1900s.) Our house is warm for the first time in forever! I cannot say enough about Adam Mechanical all around - text communications, speaking with people on the phone the minute you call. Ian gave us a text when he was nearby each day. Adam Mechanical is also a great value! When you have a maintenance contract with them, all services to fix issues are discounted 20%. Thank you! I recommend both Ian and Adam Mechanical to everyone!

Fujitsu Mini-Split (AC+Heat) installed with four interior units. Had Mini Splits installed less than two years ago and have had the technician out for problems 4 times. The latest visit cost an additional $4,000 dollars! Which I couldn't even add to the no interest financing. While their no interest financing made it possible to install the system which we otherwise would not have been able to afford, we have had nothing but problems since the beginning. First the sales man was extremely high pressure and said he would give us a certain price good for that day only and if we waited to get additional estimates from other companies then he would raise the price. An install over $17,000, and he didn't want us to do our homework. Over the course of the next 6 months the lines blew twice causing us to lose air conditioning and heating. The electrical wire that goes to the breaker box looks damaged from the installation, this looks hazardous. They didn't seal the penetrations that they made causing us to have an infestation of flies, stinkbugs, and elder bugs inside of our home. A technician came out when a unit wasn't working properly. He told us to move the remote further away from the unit (the thermostat is in the unit, not the remote). He gave us wrong advice and still charged us $50 dollar service fee. Now, one and a half years after installation all of the units were full of black mold. I cleaned them regularly, removing the filters, removing the dust, and use a low concentration of bleach water before letting the filters dry. I called and told them about the mold and they said they had to send a technician who then told me I had mold (which is what I already told them) and charged me a $50 service fee even though he didn't do anything. I called Adam Mechanical and this is not covered under the warranty, even though it made the units completely inoperable. They all needed to be completely disassembled, deep cleaned, and have a special UV light installed in each of the four units ($950 each!) for a total of $3,800 dollars. The technician says that this is extremely common, although the sales person, nor any other previous technician told us that this is an issue. Why weren't the UV lights installed with each unit from the beginning instead of exposing me and my family (we have a newborn) to mold flowing throughout the house. They didn't come out to do the work for almost one month, meaning we couldn't use the units for that entire time. I called the office and was told that a manager would reach out to me, that was over a month ago and they have yet to reach out. While the mini splits are nice when they work, we have had many issues with Adam Mechanical, their salespeople, their technicians, their workmanship, their advice, and their products. Basically every step has been flawed. I went based upon reviews, price, and financing. I am glad that other people did not have these issues with Adam Mechanical and I hope that my situation is an aberration. If I had to give someone who is thinking about using Adam Mechanical advice I would say to shop around beforehand and research the products they recommend.
