Our furnace died on a Saturday evening. I called Ziegelbauer and left a message. In a matter of minutes Cathy called me back. The weather was turning extremely cold (below zero) so Cathy arranged to have a tech come out and see if they could get it going (26 years old furnace) and leave heaters if they could not get it going! They couldn't get it going so they left the heaters. Scott set them up and explained everything to us. Our 2000 sf house stayed about 56 degrees with the below zero weather. The heaters they brought were safe and worked great! Monday morning they were installing a new furnace! They could not have done a better job! Cathy, Scott, Jeremy and Josh were all awesome! They were so friendly and professional. We could not be happier!! We highly recommend this company for any HVAC work you may need done!!

Normally I don't like leaving bad reviews, but had to this time, so that others understand what they are in for, when attempting to work with this company. This does not reflect at all on their actual service persons. The man who came out to our house to review what we needed was exceptionally knowledgeable and very personable. It's the administrative side of their office that's earned this rating. Received an incomplete quote after over 2 weeks. Asked to get the full quote, they responded "sure", weeks later nothing, after more emails and phone messages to them from me, still no response. I finally sent as cordial of an email as I could muster explaining why we may go another route, and even said we'd still be willing to work with them if we could finally get the quotes we asked for and an actual timeline for when the work could be done. Also mentioned that we prefer to work with Independent or family run businesses, and still no response. It's going on over 2 months now, and apparently they have enough business where they can pass on a >5K job. It's really too bad. Their initial service contact gave me confidence in their service. Hard to believe that their follow-up is so lacking. That totally cancels out any confidence that the work would be done in a reasonable time period or that we could get maintenance if needed. Guess I'll be going with the bigger servicer. Now I understand why they have the higher rating. I'm giving this business 2 stars only because of the initial contact by one of their service men.
